It's cute! It makes your house look friendly and fun :)

Your color combo sounds great. I am planning to repaint in the next year or so and want something unique like that.

There are some websites where you upload a picture of your house and then experiment with different paint colors. I have not had the patience yet to really learn how to use them for a entire house, but it should be easy to use them for a door color change visualization.

oh cool! I should look for one of those! Part of me wants a change since it's been 20 years (although we've repainted - using the same colors - since then), but then the other part of me likes the current colors and just wants to stay with them. But I'll look for one of those Web sites. If nothing else, it'd be fun to play around with!

I have always had a white house, but different colored front doors through the years. I remember black, red, green, and white. I currently have white, but would like to do something different.

To me, it is just a quart of paint and a few hours and if I do not like how it turns out, I ca n paint it back to the color it was. I really like houses with bright blue doors. I have seen a few dark gray houses with bright yellow doors and it really pops.

Mernin' errybody. Happy Monday.

QOTD - I live in a stone house, with an old wooden (brown) door. It's about 100 years old. I really really really want a purple door. A deep, royal purple door. I have been outvoted and flat out told "No". To be fair, the door is the original 100 year old door so, I get it. I still want one tho.

Breakfast - fasting, so hot black coffee and water

Lunch - no idea, I didn't plan anything. Maybe vegan pizza??

Dinner - we still have kids so I need to come up with something. Maybe pizza??

HAH, I just love pizza. Whatever it is, mine will be veggie heavy. We do have leftover roast from yesterday so perhaps that for kids? Dunno.

I hope you all have a great day!

Christina

There is an old stone house near where I grew up with a crayon box yellow door and yellow flowers hanging off the window boxes and I always thought it looked like a fairy tale :)

Good morning, everybody!

It's been a bit of a whirlwind these last few days. Our float plane left Throne bay at 9:00 on Saturday morning, 12:00 departure from Ketchikan to Seattle and 6:00 departure from Seattle to Chicago. Between the flights, layovers and time zone changes we got home about 1:00 AM Sunday.

Yesterday, we slept in a little, but Marilyn had to go the airport a second time to pick up her Dad, who is going to help drive my son out to Colorado. So I caught up at work, and after lunch we headed to Hella Megga.

Parking was a nightmare. After driving around for 30 minutes, I needed up accepting an offer to park in a private garage for the low, low price of $90. The little side garage was a bit sketch, but when we returned the car was there and there were no creepers in the back seat (I checked). We missed the Interrupters because of traffic/parking.

I had never seen Green Day live - they are a really good concert band. I had forgotten that Fall Out Boy is a Chicago band. They were excited to be home and all had their Cubs shirts on. Highlights:

Weezer: Hash Pipe, Island in the Sun, Buddy Holly

Fall Out Boy - Uma Thurman, Thanks For the Memories, Century

Green Day - Holiday, Welcome's to Paradise, covers of Kiss' Rock and Roll all Night and the Cub's Take Me Out To The ballgame, Basket Case.

Green Day let a kid come up on stage and play guitar.

I know that its not yet Photo Friday. But now that we are exchanging sexual encounters for electric skateboards, it seems like only a slightly further departure from societal norms to post my pictures today. More a matter of degree than of kind.

QOTD: Grey with a maroon door

Breakfast: Protein Bar

Lunch: Bratwurst

Dinner: fish

Have a great day, all!

I saw Green Day in Denver and they are a great live band. Of course it's the only concert I've been to lol. Not much comes to Amarillo...that I want to see anyway.

I like most of what Green Day has done but there old stuff is my favorite. Basket case and Macy days parade are my favorites of theirs.
