What's on your Monday Menu?
I can relate to go down the cookie aisle. But I also have learned to take a bite and throw the rest away without feeling guilty.

No no no. Eating like an asshole is when you know the cookies are crap and eat the whole box anyway! I think you showed remarkable restraint!

Good mornin JB and everyone. Hope y'all had a good weekend.
I made a post a week or so ago in a cat group on FB. It was approved last night and has 2,500 likes as of this morning. Seems people think Opal is as beautiful as she knows she is! LOL
the pain has drug me down the past few days. Sometimes it builds into a self hatred pity party and I get quite bitter. Yesterday I was that way for the first part of the day. I see my pain specialist NP Wednesday so we'll see what the plan is. If there is a plan.
No big plans for the day. My mom may have something planned but I don't know what they are if she does.
qotd: our house has lighter tan bricks..kind of a yellowy tan. Kind of sage green trim and white siding. The door is a natural wood that's almost orangey. Not a fan of the exterior but it's the colors my grandpa chose and we don't have the gumption or money to change it. I want to paint the door a deep teal/turquoise color.
b: JUST egg, cheese, chicken sausage and coffee with cinnamon sugar
l: PP shake
d: no clue
s: ???

Mornin' All!
I'm sitting here waiting on the appliance people to come and install my icemaker. I bought the fridge two or three months ago, but the icemakers were backordered. It really turned out to be NOT a pain to buy a couple of bags of ice a month, but I'll still be glad when the icemaker is in! This afternoon I have the third of my four-week series for veteran bariatric patients trying to get back on track. For most of the time this class has been going on, I've done pretty well - but not this past weekend. Saturday was awful. But I did OK yesterday. Hopefully that will continue. There's some kind of thank-you thing this evening at a park for people who volunteer for this aging agency (and I'm one of the volunteers) - but I gave them a big "maybe" for a response. It's on the other side of town, and there'll be food there, and I really don't want to risk over-indulging. Hopefully they'll get a good response from the others so I don't feel guilty if they don't have a decent turnout.
QOTD: our house is sage (light olive green) with ivory trim and turquoise doors. It sounds a little weird, but it actually looks really good. We were looking through paint brochures when we first repainted our house 20 years ago, and we saw a photo in one of them of a house with these exact colors. I loved it and decided to go with that scheme.
B: Greek yogurt with 1/2 diced mango, coffee with half & half
MS: iced latte made with Fairlife and SF syrup (I may throw a half scoop of protein powder in there as well - I'll see what the rest of the day looks like protein-wise, though..
L: chickpea/miso spread on whole wheat bread with cucumber and tomato slices
AS: I'm thinking a grilled peach topped with vanilla Greek yogurt
D: vegetable curry - maybe on a roti if I still have enough calories left by then
Have a great day, everyone!
I like that color combo. Post a pic please.
