Good morning all~ Happy Birthday, JB!!! Sound like you had a wonderful time celebrating. I was planning on working from home this weekend but I forgot my portfolio at the office so there went that. I was super productive house wise. We are getting more and more settled/organized. This house has the most peaceful, calm and relaxing vibe - we just love it. Still waiting on the car situation, hopefully I will hear good news soon.
I need to buckle down on the weekend carb slipping. During the week I am an angel! Last week was rough...I think the next few weeks will continue to be so as well. Things should settle down in the next month or so. It can't be any worse that what I have been through the last couple of months, right?!? What doesn't kill you makes you stronger but I would just love some smooth sailing, pretty please!
QOTD - Over the years on Facebook, yes, but not in person. My favorite peeps are all over the US. I agree there is a special connection with old friends!

Good morning! I'd say late start for me, but I've been up for hours loading the RV, tinkering around the house and cleaning. Just sat down for a cup of coffee. The grand girls are here and want to walk for breakfast. That was not on my agenda today, but...flex, Lisa, flex. It won't kill me. Painters are here again this morning. I was able to clean up the front lawn, at least 3/4's of it yesterday. We actually sat out front with the neighbors while the dogs played yesterday. In real chairs. Like adults. I splurged a little bit on brunch yesterday with half a ****tail and ordered a meat loaf sandwich from Claim Jumpers. Do you guys have Claim Jumpers? Their food is served in enormous platters. ENORMOUS. Anyway, I peeled away the bread, had about a third/half of the meatloaf with cheese on it and couple french fries. I was pretty done for the day, and made us a real light dinner. So overall, with mostly good food choices and more exercise, I'm back down 2 whole ounces! Look at me go!
QoTD: I reconnected with a couple cousins via Facebook. One I am super close with and we visit back and forth (he is the one in Mystic). One is crazy as a loon and I "blocked her feed" on FB and just exited, stage right. I don't need or want that kind of crazy in my life. Being a Navy kid, I don't have any childhood friends. We just moved too often to build those kind of relationships. So my oldest friends are from my twenties, and we are all very much still in touch.
Oh Hey JB! Costco taco innards for the win!!!! My husband eats everything, unlike John, so one tray made two dinners and I packed away two lunches. I do have a ton of tortillas in the drawer. Who can I pawn those off on?
Menu today:
B: maybe a egg and bacon
L: TBD
D: chicken leg meat, broccolini and potatoes
S: P3
Peace Everyone!

3500?! That is insane....and there was a time I would have eaten it, right after a meal. WLS and counseling FTW.
