What's on your (PHOTO) Friday Menu?
Good morning ~ and seriously - TGIF!! Wonderful news, JB!! Here's to happy healing and no more surprises. Rough and busy week, but I am in a better place mentally having taken the time to organize my chaos. I will work from home a bit this weekend so I can get through some things without interruptions. This will make next week that much better and it's worth it to me. Looking forward to more nesting this weekend and organizing my closet in the guest room which is now my dressing room. No more sharing a closet with Rob and plus I get up way earlier than him, so it's better all the way around. We are going to at least hit a bucket of balls and hopefully finalize trading in Robs truck for a new commuter car. The dealership has been trying to find what we want since Sunday. We may have to resort to plan B, which at this point is fine since they have us in a loaner so as not to put any more miles on our trade in, but I really want our car and to be done.
QOTD - I was just thinking about this! I would have to say anything Led Zeppelin, but specifically - All of my Love. I used to think it was a beautiful love song but have ya'll actually listened to the lyrics? They don't make sense to me. I guess it's supposed to be a sad ballad - though I still don't understand the cloth/loom bits.

Got up at dawn ( six) to finish more of this condo yard landscaping job. Found the place in absolute chaos . Apparently the supers left to drive to Montauk last nite ( they?re passionate fishermen) and a nasty tenant overheard the conversation that they were going . Same tenant threw water on me a few days ago from an upstairs window - and threw a piece of fruit at the super( and aimed well - it hit him and really pissed him off ) the following day when he was working out in the yard . Grrr
So I have my back brace on all day moving three hundred pound planted pots back ( that have been pushed off their wheels too 
while enduring hundred degree city heat . Time for a long walk and ocean swim on Rockaway Beach !
Am anxiously awaiting the bank?s verdict about the proposed short sale for the Long Island property and still feeling fat ( I?ve been living on everything bagel seasoning so it?s no wonder I?m retaining water ) . Here are a few pics of the job in progress before the vandalism.
