After having the gastric bypass ..I lost 120 lbs 9 years ago and I have gained 35 lbs of it back..I am determined to not gain anymore but am in need of support because I live with folks that eat everything that I fought so hard not to eat...and with Covid-19 ..it triggered more opportunity , no excuses to get more weight gain on... I am ready to work hard to get back on track......so guys can you help me to get myself back on track and headed in the right direction...any and all advice will be appreciated...

Man! I so feel this.

there was an article on the main page that was about losing regain you might check that out.

im actively looking for an in person support group, i used to go to one at my surgical Center but we moved and it's not close.

join the daily food accountability thread. Those people rock socks!!!

go back to basics. Dense protein, counting. All that stuff :)

I find Weigh****chers helps me a lot. You can eat anything you want as long as you stay within your points. I attend online meetings every day. I also weigh myself on a smart scale every morning and track weight, BMI, bone density, water, and muscle weight.

Wow, you sound like me. I had my surgery in 2007. I lost 130. Maintained until the last yr. I gained 30 back. I have not been on this site since 2012. I decided today, to get back on track and logged in. Maybe we can motivate each other.

Best of luck, Dorean

You grrlz CAN do this without a doubt !

You took the first and biggest step by being willing to ask for help before you regained everything you lost .

in my opinion ( and I'm a very small minority here ) if you stay with very low fat or fat free options you can eat as much as you want and will have tremendous energy and health .

I am 5'9 " 139 lbs currently ( a lot due to the Covid 30 and two recent miscarriages ) I'm a performer and a working model size 2 to zero. I look twenty years ( at least ) less than my " real" age - also I enjoy great energy love eating food ... enjoy healthy sexy sex ( and dating ) :)

First and foremost..I want to say I'm sorry for your loss...and to thank you for the encouraging words...
