It's Taco Tuesday - how should we celebrate?? Lisa did you find the Costco Street Tacos? I had to throw my leftovers away this weekend and it was so sad. I can't believe I don't have any tacos in the house at all!

Thanks for all of the well wishes. I should really ask Grim to change the wifi password on me in the middle of the night so that I stop the needless googling! This morning I finally gave up on sleeping at 2am, but I promise that I only watched stupid TikTok videos about cats and cookie decorating. No doom googling ;)

QOTD: What happens to you when you are exhausted? I get so super silly and laugh until I cry. My coworkers are in for a very slapstick day, lol.

Yesterday was perfect until about 8:30pm when I found the leftover dessert from our cookout.

I'm with ya on the crappy sleep. Way way waaaaay over it.

I had to make another appointment with the pain clinic to deal with the hydrocodone not working well enough. I honestly have no idea what will happen. They'll be destroying them I hope. I'll likely be put back on Tylenol 3s or 4s. I just can't seem to find relief.

Other than that not much planned today. Hoping for a nap and a call about the MRI.

QOTD: I get chatty or very zombie like. It depends o. The luck of the drawl.

Not sure on food today. They had blackberries for 2 bucks at Sam's so those will be a snack.

Mornin'!

it'll be another beautiful day today, so I need to get out and do something. Maybe walk or bike. Or just take my laptop over to a coffee shop that has outdoor seating (which I'd do anyway - virus level here is too high for my comfort). I'm having dinner with a friend - a BBQ place that has outdoor seating. I think she would have preferred the Italian option, but it's easier for me to guesstimate my calories at the BBQ place.

the Zoom back to basics class #1 was good. My problem is strictly behavioral, and my worst time (as I've known all along) is late afternoon. So I'm going to juggle things up a little and make sure I have a very satisfying, planned snack around 4:00. I'm also going to push back the times on some of my meals/snacks since I'm almost never hungry in the mornings, and I almost always want to eat in the late afternoon, hungry or not. Hopefully I can manage a later lunch and a heavier, planned snack at 4:00 (that I'll actually stick to!!) to get me through until dinner so I'm not opening the fridge at 3:00 or 4:00 and eating whatever strikes me (usually something way more caloric than planned). She also said to make sure every meal and snack contains protein and a complex carb. Okey doke. In addition, finding something to do in the late afternoon to get my mind off food is also a great idea - either getting out of the house or finding some project to work on.

QOTD: I do things that make it even worse, like get up and surf the Web, even though I know that's completely counterproductive.

B: protein shake, coffee with half & half

MS: plain Greek yogurt with strawberries

L: 1/2 pita with 1/2 chicken skewer and basil, 1T hummus, 2 T plain Greek yogurt, tomato & cucumber slices.

AS: 1/2 C coleslaw made with Asian-style dressing, 1/2 protein muffin

D: 3 oz pulled pork, corn muffin

ex: I'm going back & forth about going to the gym, but maybe I'll go to the weight room during my afternoon bad period. Or I guess I could do handweights at home then - the gym has a bunch of online videos - and of course there's youtube videos. In addition, I'll either bike or do some cardio video today.

Her advice makes ME feel successful. LOL. I've been eating beef jerky and a few Whisps everyday around 2:30. It makes it so I can have dinner about 6:15 without thinking I'm going to die of starvation. And then dinner at 6:15 carries me through the night, almost always. I'll be interested in how it works out for you!

Good Morning! Yesterday was great, the new person is really doing well and did amazing with all the paperwork chaos.

QOTD: Depending on the day I can honestly be a little silly or grumpy. I think if it's mental exhaustion the grumpiness comes to the surface.

hi all later one for me. I'm usually 7 am girl. Let's see, still don't have my new car, apparently the windshield was damaged during delivery so now its next Monday. In the meantime DH's car is being sold today and the truck is in the shop. so we will have 1 car and I have to drive to TN tomm for work

there are lots of things happening at work and still no title change for me. its frustrating
