What's on your Sunday menu?

good mornin everyone! Hope today finds you doing well!
Looks like a hopefully lazy day. I've been having a nagging pain in my left side(the stimulator is on the right side) and it's really annoying me. It's hard to get comfortable. It makes me really feel panicked. I can't wait for Tuesday! Staples out and the stimulator gets programmed. I was unable to apply at the clinic last week so I'll be doing that tomorrow morning. Have to be there at 7:30...eck!
QOTD: Ocean or Mountains?
I've yet to see the ocean so I have to say mountains. I adore them!
B: JUST egg, roasted chilies and onions, chicken sausage, banana and coffee before
L: dairy free Alfredo sauce, ground chicken, palm noodles and a crispbread.
D: probably left overs from lunch
S: GF pretzels or popcorn, toast and ???

Good Morning!
It's rainy here - I hope it clears up this afternoon as I'm supposed to go for my second run today. I woke up the other day wanting to do something.. so I went for a run. I downloaded the couch to 5k app and started with that. Running at 154lbs is much easier then running at. 225lbs.. so anyway that's my goal these days.
QOTD: I cannot choose. I love both.
b: fairlife latte
S: 1oz deli meat, 1/2 slice light havarti, 1/2 a tortilla
l: 1 egg, 1 slice Turkey bacon, 1 slice toast
s: 120g skyr, 1tbsp Pb, 40g blueberries
d: 2oz chicken breast, 1/2c broccoli
S: tbd

Learning my new normal, one day at a time.
Mornin'!
not much on the agenda today other than meeting a couple of family members for coffee at 11:00. I also need to finish up a surveymonkey survey we're sending to members/former members of an organization I co-chair so we can use it for planning next season's line-up of events. I'm so glad the two organizations I'm an officer of are more-or-less on hiatus during the summer -- I've been feeling overly-involved in things this year. Part of me would like a lot more time to read, exercise, go places (when we can) and do whatever I want to do. I'm at that age where people tend to start considering how much time they have left, so I want to spend it the way I want to spend it (trying not to be morbid here - just realistic!).
QOTD: ocean for sure. Mountains are beautiful, but I lived in them for 10 years. I prefer being near water.
B: plain Greek yogurt with fruit compote and 2 T muesli, coffee with half and half
MS: protein shake. And probably more coffee at the coffee place
L: coleslaw mix and a Costco chicken skewer with light Asian-style sesame dressing
AS: protein muffin, maybe a L&F yogurt
D: this Madras lentil dish thing I got on sale at Costco yesterday - a serving of that with 1/2 pita
ex: some kind of cardio. Probably another walking video since it's cold and rainy outside
have a good day, all!
Good morning! Today is traveling home day. I have had a great time and don't regret much. Yet. Weighing in tomorrow morning sounds a bit scary. Yesterday we walked over 8 miles and while I indulged some, I kept my volume small and tried to prioritize my choices. I was not unhappy with how I conducted myself.
QoTD: Ocean for sure. Being near the water is very soothing to my soul.
Menu: Again today I do not know. Meeting up with friends for breakfast before we go to the airport. I also have beef jerky and Whisps with me to control snacking. I'll decide dinner when I get to needing it. Though at this point, something very light and high protein sounds good!
Peace Everyone!!

I am so glad the staples are coming out and the stimulator will be programmed. This has been quite an ordeal for you.
It was the ocean all my life, but a few times I have been at the ocean when hurricanes were rolling in and it made me realize just how deep, dangerous, and powerful the ocean can be. Being at the beach on a hot, sunny day, or even a cold, rainy or windy day had always been such a relaxing day.
Now I enjoy the mountains a lot and find peace in the age old rocks and breathtaking views.

Real life begins where your comfort zone ends
QOTD: I love the ocean. I could sit and watch the tide for hours. But, the mountains are also beautiful.
B: 1/4 c. fit n light greek yogurt
L: 1/4 c. strained cream of chicken soup
D: 1/4 c. SF chocolate pudding
S: 1/4 c. SF butterscotch pudding
2 calcium caramel chews plus 1 calcium dark chocolate bar
Exercise: I did get my hike with my dtr and son on Friday. Lots of steep uphills. Kicked my butt with being on so few calories. Also, did a mile walk today with my Rottweiler. Trying to get some exercise.
Tomorrow I see my surgeon and should be able to move to the next phase of the bariatric diet. Pureed diet. Does anybody have any good suggestions for the pureed diet?

Pureed stage goes by really fast. A year from now, you will barely remember it.
I think it was yogurt, cottage cheese, ricotta bake, refried beans and Wendy's chili for me. I never affirmatively blended anything.
