You can't be in a bad mood when you listen to Dolly!

But to get out of a mood, I am happier listening to a book or a podcast that gets my brain moved on to a whole new subject. I can still stew in my feelings and replay my thoughts when I am listening to music, but listening to a story gets me out of my own head.

I have a good running play list Em made for me. Sometimes if I need to focus I'll pop in the ear buds when I'm working.

I listen to Iheart for free. So it builds a favorite list for me and I listen to that when I run.

I do listen to music a lot especially over the last couple of years. At first it was to relax or to have background. Since DH died I think that it has helped me work through my emotions. When my DD died I was initially destroyed and fragile, but quickly became emotionally numb probably to survive. It took me over 2 years to start truly feeling again and it was a really difficult process. I started at a different grief point with DH, but I think music really helped me heal. The sad songs allowed me to feel sad and cry while the happy ones helped me feel joy and thankful for what I had. I think I moved forward more quickly because of it. IMHO!

hi all

QOTD: I would rather them understand me and not pee and poo on my couch and eat my shoes.... or eat each others poo, or acorns, or anything else they can hoover into their mouths.

yesterday was work, gym, talk to my old boss for an hour on the phone. once I got home I heated up my food ate, then worked a bit more.

food plan today: talked to my ww 'coach' yesterday morning and they told me not to use all my daily points and eat more zero points. I'm getting frustrated but will try it. I'm already working out 4-5 times a week for 30 to 80 minutes, not using the 'weeklies' or the 'fitpoints' and still not losing so I'm trying to stay positive but why is it damn near impossible for me to lose weight now after surgery? sorry but I'm so complain-ey...

b: coffee

eggs/35 cal bread slice

b2: yogurt/apple

l: spaghetti squash/chicken/tom sauce

d; chicjken sausage

I think because we are smaller already the full points are too many--I think the program was designed for people who are typically a bit bigger than we are. Or maybe its because our metabolisms are shot... Anyway, I was doing great when I was keeping to closer to 16 a day. Now I plan for that, but I keep eating more. Sigh. I suck.

I think it is hard to adjust to eating waaay less to lose. I felt for a long time after that I was starving... maybe its just me. I can fit normal amounts in my pouch, I will just need to learn to cut off with less
