I am new here. My surgery is scheduled for the 24th. My husband us the only one who knows of my surgery. Has anyone else kept this info private?

It is up to you who you tell. When someone loses 100 pounds in a year or less, you usually will get a lot of questions. Mostly people will think you have cancer or another disease.

There was a member here who never told his wife. I told everyone.

I did till I got home from the hospital but I had some complications that I had to do some explaining why I as in there so long. Remember it's your choice who you choose to tell and not to tell. After a month or 2 they'll all know anyway.
