What's on your Wednesday Menu, RNYers?

I've been reading all your messages but haven't posted. Trying not to stress but it's difficult although I keep reminding myself everyone else is in the same situation.

QOTD: My co-workers are napping waiting for one of us to have something to eat so they can get a bite.

Saturday I wanted something out of the attic. I pulled down the door to the attic and as I reached to pull the ladder down, the door slammed shut and tossed me across the floor. OMG.....what pain. I hit the door and fell on my rump. I think I cracked my tail bone because it is so sore. I was afraid of breaking a hip.

Doing pretty good with eating although yesterday I had a pretzel from Quik Trip. Put me way over in points. I'm developing a spare tire that I've never had before.

Eats planned today:

Quaker fiber & protein oatmeal

Click shake

Taco soup

Sargento snack pack - love these and found on sale the last 2 weeks but they are high in points

Quiche

sugar free chocolate pudding

OMG - I hope you didn't crack your tailbone, but thank goodness you didn't break your hip!

Edited to add a note to JB - you were in a dream I had last night! I was telling you I couldn't vote yet because my parents had moved to Washington DC, so I had to go there to vote. Note sure what brought that on - other than I plan to vote today!

Mornin' All!

I seem to be posting later and later since I login first thing every morning to read all the virus news. I think I need to get mentally away from this (the news, that is) for a day or two...

I got my absentee ballot on Monday, so I'm going to vote today. And drive over to the post office to drop it in the box. Getting out once in awhile - even if just to stay in the car and drive somewhere - helps. I may go for a long walk today, too - I went last night with DH, and it was so great to get out! I'm also going to do weights today. I've been saying this for two days now, but I WILL do it today!

QOTD: one co-worker is in his usual spot - on the couch in the basement family room - because the other co-workers annoy him. I think he wishes he was the only employee in this "office". Another is in one of the guest bedrooms because he often fights with the other co-workers. A third is in bed with me (whoops!). The other two are running around somewhere, probably goofing off...as usual!

accountability was OK yesterday but could have been better. At least I took a long walk - it probably offset most of that.

4 years 9 months out:

B: protein pancakes with plain Greek yogurt and blueberry compote, coffee with half & half

MS: protein shake

L: salad with diced chicken breast and light dressing

AS: maybe cottage cheese topped with strawberry compote

D: either chicken salad or a chipotle chicken taco

have a great day, all!

Good morning y'all. Happy Hump Day.

QOTD - My co-worker peed on the floor on a potty pad, and then strutted out the back door to explore.

Breakfast - None, still fasting. Trying to extend it to 20 hours today. Giving my stomach a bit of a rest. Having lots of water, hot coffee, hot green tea and of course, topo chico!

Lunch - Thinking a veggie sammich, with hummus as a spread. Vegan sliced chao cheese too.

Snack - Fruit smoothie, water, oat milk, chia seeds, frozen fruit, hemp seed protein

Dinner - kabobs. Beef for husband, son and mother in law, veggie kabobs for me and daughter. She's not vegan but definitely vegetarian and leaning that way. I may make some brown rice on the side.

I hope everyone is doing well, and has a great day!

Christina

I have to share, for a moment when I was reading I briefly forgot what the QOTD was and thought for a fraction of a second that you were referring to a human....hahahaha

Hello everyone,

Once again, sorry it's been awhile since checking in. Although I'm on quarantine I'm still working crazy hours via phone, text and email. I'm finding it's more exhausting running 4 group homes from home than being there in physically.

Glad that you are feeling better JB!

QOTD: I currently don't have any co-workers. Hopefully we'll be adopting one in the future.

Accountability: On plan.

Early this morning I started a big pot of chicken bone stock and the house smells sooo good! The longer it cooks the better it smells!

B: 2 eggs, 1/2 slice cheese, turkey sausage

L: 3 oz roasted turkey breast

S: 3 oz roasted turkey breast

D: 4oz pork tenderloin, 1/2C broccoli rabe

S: ostrim meat stick

Cals: 657, Carbs:7, Protein:105

Enjoy the rest of your day everybody! Stay safe and healthy! :)
