What's on your Wednesday Menu, RNYers?

Good morning.
i got woke up by a huge Charlie horse in my left leg. I had to stand up and nearly fell. This day can kiss my behind already. Ugh.
i really liked the psychologist yesterday and so far it seems to be a fit. BUT she warned me they may not be in the office much longe with the Coronavirus **** getting closer to our area. I have another appointment scheduled for next week but she said Texas Tech might close em down for a while. I also have an appointment with my bariatric surgeon next week too I didn't want to miss. She also told me that the hospitals are moving into a look down/out kind of mode. AND that they are canceling elective surgeries already.
I'm tired and had a bad evening with food. My mom bought a chocolate fudge cake and I had a small piece and later had another small piece. I also had some French fries. I'm such a screw up sometimes...ok most all the time.
not sure what food will hold today. A shake for breakfast and maybe lunch. Then a frozen dinner for dinner. Snacks? Not sure.
qotd: ice ice baby.

Glad it went well. I am sure that therapists will be moving to virtual sessions, though! Did she talk about a plan for that?

Not yet. If Wednesday happens she said we'll talk about it then. Since I wasn't an established patient yet things may have to wait. I'm hoping but I don't have a lot lol.
Good morning, everybody!
Today I need to put some actual work into work from home. It seems like I spend my entire day on conference calls about working from home and never actually do any work from home.
We watched Knives Out last night. We hadn't seen it before and thought it was pretty good. We got another movie, but will probably watch it Thursday because Seal Team is on tonight. Also, I have a Board meeting for a non-profit organization tonight. We are going to be doing it by videoconference. One thing we will need to talk about is our Golf Outing that is planned for May 18th.
DD is back in Texas, or as she calls it "home". The boys have started their online learning. For Christmas I got the 11 volume Story of Civilization set. It's close to 8,000 pages - perfect for a pandemic. So I have been starting into that in earnest. Somewhat related to the lack of actual work done from home.
QOTD: I have to be honest about ice here. I'm one of those people whose ice all melts into a blob at the bottom of the cup. When I try and tilt the cup a little more to get at that trapped liquid, nothing happens. Then I try a slightly sharper angle of repose. Still nothing. A third tilt of the cup inevitably leads to the ice rushing headlong into my face, water in my eyes and all over my clothes. Then I have to sit in shame, covered in liquid, while the ice forms into a blob again. Are there people like that? Maybe it's just me.
I like things cool, but don't usually use ice. Now you know why. We have replica of an old Coca Cola refrigerator in our kitchen that I keep filled with Bai waters and Marilyn fills with LaCroix. It's always a highlight if I get the Bai that is in a corner because it is nestled against two metal walls and gets nice and cold.
Breakfast: Turkey meatballs and cottage cheese
Snack: protein bar
lunch: leftover corned beef
dinner: TBD
have a great day, all!

What about restaurants? Do you just carry a spare in your purse for that?

Despite all the warnings from OH and my surgeon's office, I seem to be just fine using straws post-op, so I avoid the ice to the forehead situation by never tilting the glass.
LOL - I frequently end up with the last ice in my ice coffee all over my face and down my front...
