Ha, Ha no, I am not familiar with it at all. Was is on the main drag or on a back street? We only go a couple of times a year so I am not really familiar with any of the shops there unless it is on the boardwalk or a coffee shop.

Good morning, everybody!

We are back from Walla Walla. It was fun to see our friends, but I missed my healthy life. I am glad to be back to turkey meatballs, gym time and OH friends. We had a nice house that we rented and the weather could not have been better - just crisp fall days as we went around the vineyards.

As I feared, I worked so many hours, that when I did my timesheet, I didn't end up using any vacation time. I did manage to get to Walla Walla Crossfit to do open event 20.3 and to run a few days. After three events I am right in the middle of the 50-54 scaled division.

QOTD: We have high school aged children, so the college catalogs fill our house.

Photo is me and Marilyn outside of former Patriot's quarterback Drew Bledsoe's winery. Marilyn brought her old shirt in hopes of getting an autograph, but he was out of town.

Breakfast: Turkey meatballs and cottage cheese

What is going on with the Blackhawks Jim? I thought of you this weekend whe I read the hawks were sitting out Seabrook......the league is really changing, has become a young mans league!!

Signing Seabrook to an eight year extension at age 34 was just crazy. But its not just Seabrook. Toews has really struggled this year and Keith is showing his age as well. Crawford is a rotational at this point. Between the four of them, they take up 40% of the salary cap.

Kane is ageless though and usually worth the price of admission.

The cap has made things very interesting. I watched the Habs/Leafs game Saturday night, Toronto has 33 Mil tied up on 3 players. They looked Horrible. It is going to be an interesting year. I am going to a couple of games in the next month, Montreal is not even selling out.....( other than Leafs/Bruins games)

Mornin' Early Birds! (me too - I've been up since 11:00 p.m. Hello jetlag!)

I have class later this morning and a birthday celebration for my mother this evening. Hopefully I can stay up for all of this! But it'll be a good way of forcing it - if I absolutely can't make one or the other, it's not the end of the world (tomorrow will be a different story, though...). But I'm going to try to force it today so I can gradually move into a less ridiculous sleeping pattern..

Accountability was good overall yesterday. I made channa dal (Indian chickpea soup) for dinner and I'm not sure how many calories it had - online calorie quotes were all over the place - probably depends on if it's made thin like a soup (which I did) or thick like a stew. I usually like to guesstimate on the high side, but I just wasn't sure about any of this. Maybe I'll just have a little of it today (if at all) so it won't break my calorie range either way. Either that, or add up the stats on all the ingredients I threw in there and divide by the number of servings I get out of it (which is guesswork, too..). Might be easier to just have a little of it, and guess on the high side!

QOTD: we seem to get one or two pieces every day. I signed up for some sort of "get less junk mail" thing a few years ago, and I think it helped. At any rate, it all goes right into the recycling bin.

4 years 4 months out:

B: protein pancakes with Greek yogurt, cooked apples, and sugar free cinnamon syrup, coffee with half & half

MS: protein shake

L: maybe 1/2 C of chickpea soup?

AS: L&F yogurt. Or raw veggies with ranch Greek yogurt dip

D: at Mom's. My sister is ordering subs. I asked for the turkey wrap (comes with lettuce, tomato, and honey mustard dressing)

ex: If I can stay awake this afternoon, I'll check for a yoga class
