I am so sorry you are dealing with this, Janet. I totally understand your frustration that you are slim and strong and NOW having heart issues. Whenever I get down about something with my health, I think how much worse it would be if I weighed 350 lbs. I hope you can find some answers and get out of there ASAP. Hang in there!
Have they done vein calcium deposits? If not, as if that can be done.
Sometimes when we take alot of calcium but not enough other minerals or K2, we may end up with too much calcium in our system and not in bones.
You have time, look for articles on K2 study in Japan to direct calcium from system to bones...they put people on 45,000 IU K2 to reverse osteoporosis...or something like that...
And other studies on reducing calcium buildup using K2

Thanks, I will look at that. I do take extra calcium since my BMD is going down. I also take K2 daily on your recommendation but certainly not mega doses.

B****ypical RDA K2 is 100 mcg (100 micrograms) ,
the study used 45 mg or 45,000 mcg
Significant very very large amount. There are some naturopath who don't recommend women take calcium in excess but rather take other minerals and mega-dose of Vit K2.
And some more of them getting great results. As compared with standard high dose of calcium and ending with bone spurs, stones, and calcification of arteries...

I have had that heart rate issue too. Thankfully I have my FitBit and can pull up my history to show my normal heart rate patterns. It feels weird having to do that for health professionals but... glad to have it as proof. Thank god for the digital age and advancements. I hope you are feeling better and back home soon. I am glad you are able to be up out of bed and get some movement in
At least the cardiologist got it, most of the rest of the staff kept telling me that my low rhr was the problem. Just makes me shake my head and cringe though.

Same as yesterday my thoughts and prayers are with you. But I do got to say I never really mind a hospital stay myself. It is the only time I can relax. Any other time I working, working out, preparing meals, taking care of mom, very little relax time for me so use this time to refresh if you can. God Bless.
