Pizza? Toppings?

I am 4 1/2 weeks out from RNY. I am on "foods you can cut with a fork". I know to stay away from the bread, but what do you think about the toppings? I like Italian sausage, mushrooms, mozzarella, black olives.

My advice - don't even make or order or buy pizza. Don't even go down that road, this soon. Try a ricotta bake - mix ricotta cheese, an egg, italian seasoning, low sugar pizza sauce if you want, and a few of those toppings like olives and sausage and bake it. Yummy and filling and all protein!

I think pizza toppings are fine, but might make you sick at four weeks out, so try at home first. I made a lot of baked cheese. I would also put some ricotta on a plate with a bit of sauce and microwave it. You could do that and add some sausage, mushrooms, and olives.
