GERD......what has helped?

My GERD improved for a little while after gastric bypass but then it came back, along with Barrett's Esophagus. The solution to this wasn't to mask the problem with Prilosec but additional surgery; hernia repair & Nissen Fundiplication. Since those procedures 15 months ago, my reflux and Barrett's have resolved.

I recommend you see a gastroenterologist for evaluation; ideally, one who is experienced with WLS patients. Good luck.
