Afternoon all! Been a busy day so far!

QOTD: How much more energy I have and not having constant worry anymore. Before surgery I'd always have to plan out everything. If I was going somewhere I wanted to know in advance how much walking was involved as I could not walk far at all without being out of breath and having my back hurt. If I was going to a restaurant I had to make sure they had a table available instead of a booth as I knew I'd never fit. Also worrying if chairs would hold me etc. I know longer have that worry and it's so freeing! Just little things we take for granted.

Good afternoon everyone.

feeling pretty good today mentally. Found some parts of my mind that I didn't care for what they were doing. So i'm trying to let those things stay in the past. I've found myself making excuses for questions I didn't want to hear in the first place. In the end I am responsible for myself and i'm the only one who can make it better. It's hard, but I think and well...know I can do this. I've had a few people walk away from being my friend. As much as that hurt I actually feel less pinned down. Pains of the past need to stay there.

Exercise has been hard for me lately. I'm having a lot of pain in my upper thighs to hip areas on both legs. I think it might be a flare up of fibromyalgia(which i'm not sure I have, just a hypothesis) or sciatica. I do also have degenerative disc disease in my lower back so who knows. I'm walking at least 30-40 minutes a day but it's painful. I can ride my recline stationary bike but pay dearly for it. That part has been frustrating for sure.

qotd: I never thought or considered chicken would make me sick. It used to be my favorite but now it makes me throw up. I knew eating would be drastically different for the VSG but wasn't prepared for the moody pouch I have. I don't regret it but it just surprised me!
