What's on your Saturday Menu, RNYers?

So sorry for your loss. I am sure having your daughter home will help bring some sunshine back to you :)
I've really gotta come out of hiding! Hi menu peeps! I started the day with my run and lawn work. I'm thankful for fall to come and begin to kill off the greenery, I'm sick of tending to it. I love the challenge you started JB. My next 1/2 marathon is in November, so I'm unofficially forgoing the challenge to focus on training, but I'm sure I'll cover the miles. No other plans today- a few errands, but mostly couch olympics. I felt awful yesterday JB- tummy issues that led to the odd salivating/you may throw up thing that never progressed that far. I'm better today.
Qotd: worst weather event I recall while growing up was Hurricane Gloria on Long Island. No power for days- my Dad cooked for us on the grill. Behind that was probably the blizzard of '96. Dorian was basically a wet sneeze here inn philly.
4.5 years out 216 today
m1: protein shake
m2: boiled egg, yogurt with berries and 1 eggo waffle
m3-4: ? I'm Cautious about eating since my tummy was so upset yesterday. Gonna wing it.

You are slaying with the running. SLAYING.
Jim and I were remembering how Gloria was a huge headline here in MA but never landed. I didn't pay attention to the fact that she ever did any damage elsewhere.
Hope your tummy feels better!
Good afternoon! Been busy folding laundry and making the bed with freshly washed, brand new sheets
QOTD: the 2 that come to mind are the Blizzard of '78, I was a freshman in college, and Hurricane Bob that dropped a tree on my beautiful, brand new, fire engine red Mercury Cougar! She got fixed but was never really the same.

Hope everyone is having a lovely weekend! So I didn't actually stick to plan yesterday. I ended up eating a leftover zoodle dish for dinner. Had an extra cheese stick for a snack and a sugar free fudgesicle that night. Plus an additional cup of coffee w/Splenda and sugar free creamer. Sigh...that's what happens when I stay up late. Those dang munchies kick in and I give in. Today will be better and I'm going to bed earlier to prevent a repeat!
QOTD: I'd have to say hurricane Hugo in 89 without a doubt. I was six years old and it was the scariest night of my life. My aunt and uncle and two cousins who lived right next door came to stay with us. Good thing they did as their house was completely destroyed. All I remember was the howling winds and the sound of our windows shattering. We all (all 8 of us) squeezed into my parents tiny half bathroom during the worst of it. My mom said I looked up at her that night with tears in my eyes asking if we were going to die? We were without power for about a month. Mom said after that hurricane, for months whenever we would have a storm I'd get scared and ask her if it was another hurricane?
B: premier shake
B2: coffee w/Splenda and sugar free creamer
L: L&F yogurt with granola and banana
S: premier shake
D: leftover baked salmon and broccoli that I did not eat yesterday.

Holy crap--Hurricane Hugo sounds lie it was terrifying. I can't imagine how hard that must have been for your mom to worry about the hurricane and keeping her kids safe... scary!

Good afternoon menu friends.
today is better for me and i'm thankful. So far no panic attacks and i'm hoping it stays that way.
QOTD:I live in part of tornado alley. I was once caught out by our mall in our car when we had baseball sized hail. Broke all our windows in the car. Once I was stuck in a car garage at the hospital my mom worked at. Softball sized hail and tornado sirens going off. The hospital had all of it's north facing windows beaten out. The most recent in 2013 we had yet another hail storm that hit our house. Had to replace our roof, our storm windows were shattered. Also tornado sirens going off. Winter wise we had a blizzard once the day after Christmas, 23 inches of snow! That's a lot for us in the Texas panhandle.
