Hello my RnY friends! Happy Friday!

We had a long stretch of lovely weather beginning on Easter, but yesterday it absolutely poured, and it will again today. I really don't mind rain as long as it isn't constant, though. It's still cool enough to wear tights.

Yesterday I was hoping to find myself another fitted blazer - navy this time, hopefully in a linen blend, to wear casually with the sleeves pushed up, over jeans. The size that fits best, from brand to brand, still simply shocks me! Unfortunately navy seems in short supply, at least at Macy's and Nordstrom, and I already have a new black one (black is apparently de rigeur in the world of blazers, and therefore very easy to find - navy, not so much). What few navy items I did find were boxy rather than fitted, so the search goes on.

QOTD: I have a Queen foam mattress that is very thick, and it sits on a tall frame. I don't quite need a ladder to get into bed, but it still reminds me of Edmund Dulac's wonderful illustration of the Princess and the Pea:

I have a new favorite plain, nonfat Greek yogurt - it's Trader Joe's, and it's just so beautifully creamy. I love it with blueberries and a little syrup. Yum!

I've avoided nuts since my last cashew and almond mistake, and my weight is holding steady at 126.2. I need to exercise more though.

First: coffee with cashew milk and SF, carb-free syrup. Time to order more Skinny Syrups! Man, I love that stuff.

B: ham and a little espresso bellavitano cheese.

L: turkey

D: roast beast, and greens of some sort.

Have yourselves some fun today, my friends!

I have been buying that yogurt when Fage doesn't go on sale. I like it, as you said very creamy.

That is funny.

I got up and did meal prep- the cheesy taco rice is for my nephew. Apple cinnamon muffins (I add protein powder), Thai inspired meatballs in a peanut curry sauce, chicken and apple w/homemade lemon Dijon to go on salad. Trying out pre-prepping smoothie packs I can freeze.

QOTD: I have an old horrible mattress and need a new one desperately

  • protein coffee
  • spinach egg white frittata w/slice toast
  • thai meatballs
  • salad w/chicken and apple
  • S: protein, veggies
