thanks for the tip - I'll try to be careful! Yep - arm lift. Also breast lift. He also does an incision starting at the arm pit and going down to or below the breast to get rid of "side boob", but in my case, he's going to bring that incision further down to deal with some loose skin right under my rib cage that he couldn't get to during my LBL. To be honest, I think it bothers him more than it does me (he's a bit of a perfectionist, which I'm sure a lot of plastic surgeons are), but I'm fine with it.

hi all

quick one for me

accountability- pretty darn good. my 'plan' written out helped. went to gym after work and did a few things then took yoga class focusing on spine and low back which was great and I slept well!!

QOTD: this is a hot topic for me as we just bought last year with things we wanted and see where that got us lol.... I would say min 2 bed, 2 bath, land, great view, full kitchen. BUT saying that, DH is very into off grid and tiny homes so the next one may not have hardly anything. depending on where I get a job we may be living in the motorcoach and using this as a weekend home. its pretty fully stocked though, stove, oven, built in blender, built in vaccum lol...

Food for today:

coffee

water

coffee

last of the egg bake thing

I have indian curry chicken in crock pot going and will add paneer later once all the chicken is cooked. yummmmmmmmm

Good morning Menu-ers, every morning this week has been go-go-go, so I'm happy to be sitting at my desk today and actually getting to post!

Accountability: I've had a few days of "eff it" and I need to get off that train of thought, for reals. I haven't gone completely off the deep end, but I have been maybe 100ish calories over what I planned and it isn't going well when I step on the scale.

QOTD: Central air would be the must have if I were buying a new house. The homes in my area are older, so it isn't common to have unless extensive renovations have been done, which put those places out of our price range when DH and I bought last year and I miss it desperately!

TSS: 5 years

B: coffee and egg cups

L: Ever Roast chicken and string cheese

S: apple and almonds

D: trying out Aldi carnitas - it's 150 calories for 4 oz and supposedly delicious

Tonight is my book club meeting and a) I didn't read the book and b) I can't even remember what the book was supposed to be and c) book club always has so many snacks that are not great choices...ugh.

good morning everyone!

I can't believe it's Thursday already...this week has actually gone by pretty quickly so far (Knock on wood)...I don't have real plans for the weekend but I am kind of enjoying the idea of just doing whatever we want and not having anything we NEED to do besides just taking Story to dance class and grocery shopping. Thinking maybe we can do pictures with the Easter bunny...maybe some shoe shopping which I do not need, but i do NEED. haha.

QOTD: we bought our current home 3 years ago this coming July, and for our small budget, it actually had almost everything we wanted. The only 2 big things I wish we got with it are a garage and a fenced-in yard.
We could relatively easily fence in our yard but it's just an expense we haven't pulled the plug on yet, since we want to build a porch/patio in the back at some point and the fence would be part of it. Maybe this summer if we can come up with the money.
Our must-haves were: at least 3 bedrooms (we have 4), 2 baths, basement or usable Attic (we have a full basement-unfinished), outside space (we have a large front and medium sized back yard), good school district, low taxes, and no major damage or updating needed.
Our house is a little bit outdated as far as kitchen/bathrooms go, but they are nicely maintained so nothing that needed urgent attention. I love our adorable little Cape Cod...we were super fortunate to find it in an amazing school district and since we are unincorporated, we have low taxes (for Illinois-which are still pretty ridiculous comparatively).
I do miss having sidewalks and a garage, which are really the only 2 things we will not ever get with our current home...I think I can live with it!

Morning: coffee w/1/2 caramel PP
B: low carb banana bread, 1 Kiwi fruit
L: turkey taco salad w/sour cream & hot sauce
AS: Robert Irvine fit crunch protein bar (if needed)
D: Crab stuffed flounder & brussels sprouts
ES: L&F greek yogurt & pretzels

have a great day my friends!

Good morning! I feel like I don't get on here as often in the mornings, since my schedule is way different, but I do come back in the evenings to read.

Qotd: this has actually been a focus of conversation with DH and I since we're looking at buying a larger home either this fall or next spring. I would definitely want more storage in the kitchen since I do canning from my garden, and a dining area large enough to host people over. I'd love an outdoor patio area with a fire pit. A large backyard for my gardening. A finished basement for DH to have a "nerd cave" to invite his D&D nerd friends over to play lol

eats today:

breakfast: Slimfast advanced nutrition (20g protein, 9 carbs--higher carbs than I prefer in a protein drink, but the caramel latte flavor is tasty)

coffee after

lunch: menu says beef or chicken bulgogi. I don't even know what that is? I'll take a look at it and decide if I'm eating that or hitting the salad bar lol

dinner: we'll be out, as we have theater tickets this evening. The play is "Come From Away" which is about 9/11, from my understanding. There's a local seafood place near the Orpheum that we like walking to from the theater parking lot.

bulgogi is Korean - meat and veggies (with tasty sauce and seasonings!) over rice. Just *****ll or most of the rice and you'll be fine!
