Good morning, menu friends! I'm trying to get my fingers warm enough to type. Its a whopping 22 wiith winds gusting so I don't want to think about the temp it feels like. Lily and I bundled up and did get our 4 miles in already. We'll do another mile later too. Accountability was good with exercise and food yesterday and weight today is 126.4. QOTD when the boys were in elementary school we went to a First Night celebration at the junior college. They had activities for kids and adults alike and we all had fun. Now we stay home and watch celebratiins on TV and I'm always asleep before it's midnight here. Of course I know Miss Lily will wake me by 6 the next morning for a walk! Heres the food for the day B 2/3 c earnest eats hot cereal with protein and probiotic added L 2 slices deli turkey 1 slice cheese D4 oz baked pork chop S sm apple with 1 T peanut butter. I'm off to pour the first of many cups of coffee and will get my 100 ounces of fluids in today like I did yesterday. Have a day full of smart choices everyone!

Good morning everyone~ I am happy to see the scale going down. I am still amazed at how dramatically my weight goes up when I indulge but it seems to go down just as fast. Like Cynthia said, there is just no way I actually gained that much. I agree with the reset back to basic folks. I love my routine. It's a no brainer, I feel good and there is no internal upset to recover from. Day 3, and I'm feeling SO MUCH BETTER! Today will be spent walking the dogs, Target run, putting away all the Christmas deco and cleaning. Hoping to still find an extra large gift wrap storage container cuz I accidentally bought the extra long wrapping paper this year, 5 rolls - boo! If I had a saw, I'd seriously just cut them to fit the box I already have!

QOTD - I have some good memories - as a kid, getting to stay up late and banging pots and pans in the front yard at midnight with all the neighbor kids. In my 20's I went to some fabulous raging parties that I barely remember! These day living on the west coast, I can barely make it to east coast new years.

Accountability - spot on!

2 years 1 month out - 163.0

b- coffee x 3, eggbeaters and salsa

l-BH ever roast chicken and extra sharp cheddar - warmed in a skillet or micro (OMG)

d-hot italian sausage and grilled peppers

es- l&f greek yogurt frozen

v/l on track

e- cleaning! I get more steps in cleaning the house than on a normal days with exercise and/or walks

Have a great day!

Good morning! I'm off to a hair appointment in a few. I've been rocking a blind ombré color, but my new workplace is very progressive and I think I'm going with blue. I'll post pics tomorrow.

qotd: my favorite memory was the millennium--I was in high school and I was at my dads house with 4 of my 5 sibling and we all stepped out onto the screened porch to watch some fireworks, forgetting that the door automatically locked when it was closed...when the fireworks were over, we couldn't get back in the house! None of us were dressed for staying out there in the cold, we didn't even have shoes on. We called our parents, but they were out at a party. We ended up removing a window screen and "breaking" back into the house. Looking back, we all laugh about how we spent the first hour of the new millennium!

breakfast: coffee

lunch: tuna with cottage cheese and a HB egg

dinner: turkey burger with cheese

focusing on hydration, goal is 120 oz

You look gorgeous!! And thank you for some perspective, while I overindulged, I know it wasn't 14k extra, lol. Last year it might have been though!!

qotd - I have worked past midnight the last 22 New Year's Eve! Probably my most memorable was when I was driving from the office to the hotel around 2 am when I saw the driver in the car in front of me at the light slump over. I put my car in park with hazards on and ran up to it, thinking medical issue, and when I got there and opened the door, it smelled like a distillery! Young girl, passed out while driving! Called emergency and while trying to reach over turn off her car (which I should have done first!) she cane alert-ish, out the car in drive, kind of hit the gas, rolled through the RED light and the did a slow motion crash into the curb and a tree and that was when the police got there. That young lady didn't have a good start to her year but no one was hurt so that was good. I had an early morning flight so ended up finishing with the police, grabbing my stuff at the hotel and straight to the airport. I was so tired when I got home after close to 40 hours awake, that I Uber'd hoke thinking if I tried to drive, it would seem like I was drunk!

Accountability - not perfectly on plan, I wasn't hungry but was low on protein at night so I had a shake; and then about 2 hours later I was hungry and had a measured ounce of cheese and 4 almonds. On a plan of 705/92/12, I came in at 785/104/17.

Menu today

coffee + .5 premier protein as creamer; tea

b - 3 oz deli ever roast chicken

l - 3 oz deli ever roast chicken

s - 2 smart greek yogurt

d - crustless crockpot pizza (new recipe)

es - butterscotch protein pudding

Wow that's some memory.

Was the crockpot pizza good? Do you have a recipe or link to a recipe?

It was! This is the recipe i started with https://www.recipesthatcrock.com/crock-pot-crustless-pizza/

How I actually made it

1.5 lb Mix of hot italian, sweet italian and 90% lean ground beef browned with extra fennel seeds and italian seasoning browned and drained

Put meat in crockpot, stir in 2 cups of a shredded mozzarella/parmesan blend; topped with pizza sauce, turkey pepperoni and cubed milk mozzarella; add extra italian seasoning and crushed red peppers on the top; cook on high 2 hours and 15 minutes.

I didn't spray the crockpot with olive oil and definitely should have but otherwise I was pretty happy with the outcome.

Hi everyone!! Sorry the verdict is still out in your car-- you make me very happy I don't drink coffee!

Sorry I missed before and after Friday, I will go back and look at the post. Where I am after the holiday is exactly where I should expect to be (up) given my loose eating. I do not feel out of control, or that I've given up, I was relaxed for the holiday and am returning to being more diligent. NYMom (who looks amazing in her red dress!!) put it perfectly, just getting back to normal. I absolutely must lose 10# as I want to be at a specific weight for my 1/2 marathon in February, so no fitness goals for the time being- specific weight loss/nutrition goal.

I did my run already and will head to the mall in a bit to take advantage of semi-annual sales and gift cards. I already prepped the meatballs for dinner tonight- meatballs subs for the family, just meatballs for me.

Qotd: best New Year's memories are any of the amazing NY eve parties may family had growing up. Our house was 'the' place and we stayed up to the wee hours of the morning. Breakfast the next mourning was the icing on the cake!

M1: egg/egg white, 1.5 oz ham and cheese stick

m2: left over roast beef in gravy with melted cheese

m3: beef/chicken meatballs in sauce with cheese

m4: (if needed) Jamaican beef pattie

Happy Saturday, RnY Weekenders! Thanks, Cynthia, for starting us out. You look absolutely smashing in that red dress!

I'm going to post both here and on the reset thread. I do CAMAW virtually every day anyway, so it isn't a shock to my system, nor is it hard for me. AMAW, on the other hand, I found difficult but interesting when I did it - it jolted me out of a stall and I dropped over 4 pounds that week, but I felt unbalanced for a couple of weeks afterwards and saw my weight seesaw as well. So I will leave AMAW in my toolbox and just keep on keeping on in my normal way.

Raining, dark grey, and misty once again in the island today. I wish the sun would come out.

QOTD: I worked on New Year's Eve 2000 until around 11:30, then drive home. I really wanted to be with my son and my mom to see that ball drop and to welcome in the 2000s! But it was extremely cold and snowing. The roads were full of ice, so I had to drive slowly and carefully. All went to plan until I had to exit the highway down a long, steep, curved ramp onto Main Street in my town. The off ramp was a pure sheet of ice and I had zero traction. My only saving grace was my low starting speed and the complete absence of other cars. I literally slid all of he way down the ramp, pinging off of the guard rails at one point. It was kind of scary! I opened the back door of my house just as the ball dropped. I was so happy to be there with two people who I loved so much.

First: Three delicious mugs of tea! Lately I've been adding in an occasional splash of half & half - now that is pure indulgence!

B: roast beef and some of that delicious Sartori Espresso Bellavitano cheese.

L: shrimp

D: more roast beef with a little Greek yogurt.

Have a warm, cozy weekend, my friends.
