What's on you Sunday menu, RNY'ers?

I've had a bit of a scattered morning but I'm taking quick break from some deep cleaning to update.

I am cleaning, doing laundry, sorting clothes for donation, etc today. I also had to run to the store, to two post offices, to the library and figure out what to make in the crockpot. I decided to do an experiment, kind of based on a casserole my sister makes. Her white chicken enchilada casserole is divine -- this might close and less work. I put in chicken breasts, 2 cans hatch green chile enchilada sauce, one can cream of chicken soup, one can hot chopped green chiles, one can chicken broth and a chopped up block of cream cheese. When it's done, I'll shred the chicken and top it with shredded cheese on the plate. Should be a nice lunch/dinner for the week and freeze well too!

Eats today are coffee with half and half, and then tea/water

B - 2.3 oz mozzarella

L - Two good blueberry yogurt (this is a new one from L&F that I'm trying for the first time; I think Maddymoe recommended it)

D - my chicken concoction

Have a good sunday all!

That recipe sounds YUM!!! Please update with your review!! I 'll have to try that yogurt! I love the stats. It's not available where I live or work, but there are few places along the way I can pick it up - I hadn't seen or heard of it - so thanks Jen and Maddymoe!!

It came out pretty good, not as good as my sissy's casserole but pretty good. I will make it again but leave out the chicken broth and only stir in the cream cheese once i've Shredded the chicken. The green chiles made it nicely spiced and flavorful.

Good luck finding a dresser you can have for years. I have been collecting mahogany furniture for years. It is an endangered wood so I restore these old pieces. They really knew how to build furniture that lasts.

B: jimmy dean delight

S: my veggie soup with whole grain crackers and cheese

L: chicken breast, brown and wild rice

S: sugar free jello and a salad

D: steak and green beans

S: my sf/ff cheesecake

I love mahogany. I have several family pieces that are mahogany and they are all my favorites. Sadly - I have a rocker my dad bought for my mom (when I was born) at a church auction that dates back to 1910. It was a beautiful mahogany with a red velvet seat. When I had my son, my brother in law refinished it and changed the seat cover from the red and restained it dark walnut. I cried and died when I saw it. I need to restore it still - it kills me everytime I look at it.

OMG - that's awful when people do that!! Sort of related - we live in a neighborhood of early 1950s ranch houses. The next door neighbor hated the blonde woodwork and built-ins in there, so he stained it all really dark. I couldn't believe it. And another neighbor replaced his windows and front door with 1910s-1920s Craftsman style windows and door. I mean - Craftsman style is beautiful - but on Craftsman style houses - not on mid-century modern! It looks ridiculous. Maybe not many people notice it because I don't know how many people are up on housing styles, but I cringe every time I drive by it!

I know a lot of people who changed things to their taste, I get it, but it makes me cringe sometimes too! I don't know a lot about housing style per say but if I saw ultra modern kitchens and baths in say an old Victorian would kill me!
