This really isn't a QOTD but I do have a question for you folks...

I'd like to get a pan/pot/dutch oven that I can use on top of the stove and in the oven. Some of my pans are "oven safe" but not above say 400 or so. I'd like it to be at least 3 inches deep and have a lid. Any thoughts?

And they have other colors for FAR cheaper-- I didn't pay that much.

My favorite pots are Le Creuset: pricey but otherwise perfect. Pretty, too.

I several Le Crueset pans/Dutch ovens and love them... they are going on 15 to 20 years old and still going strong. It makes the initial steep price worth it.

Have fun,

Good morning, everybody. We are off to get our Christmas tree in a bit. We went last night but it was closed. Then I started getting cold and tired and it was a struggle (unsuccessful) to stay awake on the couch until 10:30. In any case I woke up a a normal time this mornings I must have needed the extra sleep.

I am behind in all areas of Christmas preparation. Usually when my in-laws come out for Thanksgiving they get us started on Christmas preparations, but they weren't up to it this year and we haven't caught up.

Breakfast: Turkey sausage and eggs

Lunch: Costco spinah salad

Snack: Protein bar

Dinner: Meatballs from sandwich at the hockey game.

Have a great day, all.

Thanks, Jen. My Baritrician does not set number goals, so it was kind of a SWAG on my part. I am definitely going to try and keep losing. One thing that I know for certain is that last time I weighed what I do now I had bigger legs and a smaller abdomen.

I am really amazed by the people on this board who can keep grinding for 18-24 months and also how low some can keep their daily calories.
