What's on your Wednesday Menu, RNYers?

Good morning~ What a day for you Julia - it can only get better from here, right?!! I hope so anyway. It's hump day and I cannot wait for this week to be over and in the weekend! There is a mess of construction going on around my office with loud trucks, digging and jack hammering...I feel like I'm having palpitations half the time. It's kinda stressful and has given me a headache now. I'm really sensitive to heavy vibrations and pray I don't get a migraine.
QOTD - I'm in it right now - crazy that we are in the middle of a rolling strike - our unit strikes tomorrow. So I will be on the picket line tomorrow with hundreds of other employees. Management in my dept has been very respectful, but the divide is ever clear.
Accountability - I wanted to eat everything when I got home yesterday. It was all I could do to not to - so I ate a handful of pork rinds and that satisfied me until dinner.
2 years out - 159.9
b- coffee x 3, L&F greek yogurt
l- chicken breast, feta, red pepper, pepperonchinni, kalamata olives - tossed together on top
d-chicken breast w/a little Marsala sauce
es - SF jello
v/l - on track
e- too stressed to make it to the gym lately, whats up with that?
Have a good day!

Good afternoon,
I slept till 9 am today. At least I feel better today and now the sun is coming out.
Qotd last Friday the fire alarm went off at work so we started putting babies in the cribs to get ready to go outside. The dryer must've got too hot in the laundry room because I was in there taking laundry out and was about to put more in the dryer when it went off. So I was scared to put the other laundry in. Was told to leave the door open part way. The fire department showed up and checked things out.
B ham and cheese omelette and string cheese
L tuna, cottage cheese and honeycrisp apple
D turkey and green bean casserole
Have a good day

Oh, I think that would be very stressful! Glad it was not a real fire!

Hello my RnY friends!
wow Julia! I definitely can't top your crazy work day. Hopefully you will never have another at that level of chaos!
Today is my 18-month surgiversary! Anticlimactically, this morning I was up an inexplicable .8 of a pound to 133.8. I was a little over the 650 calories I strive to limit myself to - I had 682, with 4 carbs and slightly less protein (57) than was wise. But I finished my dinner before 6 pm, so there were a lot of hours left before I got horizontal (I'm trying to make this a practice when possible). My exercise was not excessive - it was pouring so I didn't walk, I just did my indoor obliques and arm routine, upping reps to 200 on each side. That really shouldn't have affected the scale. But it's all good, and the number should go down tomorrow. I routinely experience little ups and downs but the trend is still down.
Temporary scale fluctuations aside, in these past 18 months I have gone from 353.6 to today's 133.8, a loss of 219.8 pounds! At 5'8" , my starting BMI was 53.8 - super morbidly obese. Today's BMI is 20.3 -a normal/healthy weight. To say that this surgery saved my life is not an overstatement. I'm so, so glad that I had m RnY. Initially I didn't feel this way, but seeing how astonishingly beneficial it has been, I am now sorry that I didn't have it done 10 years ago - my life experience would have been far improved had I done so. But I'm here now, and very happy to be at the weight and vitality level I now enjoy!
First: I had 7 cups of tea before my late breakfast today!
B: ham and cheese
L: tuna
D: hopefully salmon - headed to the market today. If not, it will be very protein forward.
Sending you all love and my hope that each of you has a good day.
