I hope you feel better Sheila! I had a hairline break in one of my ribs a few years so and it was quite painful. I hope you heal very quickly.

Good morning, my week of Doctor's appointments continues today. I have my three-month Bariatrician appointment and my three month Nutritionist this afternoon. I am interested to see if my Bariatrician will give me amore aggressive goal today. She has very much avoided any numbers based goals thus far. When I started my six-month program worked with one nutritionist and we had a good working relationship, but since then I have had a different nutritionist every appointment. The good news is that they are all Bariatric nutritionists and I haven't had any wacky advice yet. But it would be good to stay with one.

QOTD: I am definitely from the old school finger paints/naps on towels kindergarten generation. I don't think that I even learned the alphabet until 1st grade.

Breakfast: Turkey sausage and egg

Snack: Light and fit

Lunch: Ham and cheese

Dinner: Hamburger

Have a great day all.

I had such bad luck with Nuts that the last time they tried to switch me to "first available" I told them no, that was just wasting my time and that I would wait or come back to see the one I worked with primarily. They've never swapped me out again.

I have a NUT that works with WLS and Renal patients. She got me through those first 3 years before kidney transplant. I still see her. She's great.

Good morning! Off work early today for my 9 month checkup, and I have some anxiety that I haven't lost "enough" weight. My surgeons office has never been judgemental and does ask about other progress, such as pants sizes, exercise stamina, etc. I think it's residual fat-shaming phobia maybe?

Qotd: I do remember kindergarten. Mine was also across the street from the rest of the elementary school, and was attached to the nun's convent (catholic school). I remember the kindergarten teacher was a nun and she was the sweetest lady and a lot of kids called her "Sister Grandma Jan." The Principal was a priest and came and read stories to us after lunch. I think part of why the whole catholic priest scandal stuff horrified me so much is because I have nothing but fond memories of my own interactions with our priest, even if I'm no longer a practicing Catholic.

Breakfast: I'm on my 3rd cup of black coffee, which is more than I normally drink. I'd better switch to water or my heart will be racing when they take my pulse later!

snack: 2 oz deli ham

lunch: 4 oz chicken breast

dinner: I have pork sirloin marinating

The Whole weight and scale can still wrack fear in me. When I went for my 4 year Bariatric check up I wouldn't get on the scale as it was late in the day... and I had gained some from the year before. ..didn't want to add to the higher number.... so I just gave the girl my morning weight.

When the doctor came in He asked why I didn't weigh in. I told him my brain and I figured you can see with your eyes how I am doing. He looked down at the weight I gave and said - That is not right, you do not weigh that much. #score

Prayers & hugs for Itty Bitty. Poor little baby.

Also, I'm so sorry you got called names in kindergarten! Kids can be so cruel!
