I'm totally the opposite of being artsy, so I just admire what nature is offering. You are more than welcome to come and visit me and paint all you want.

Mornin' All!
I love the new kitty, Peach - he is adorable!!
weight was up 2 lbs this morning - probably due to having Chinese food at lunch yesterday. I hope it's gone tomorrow - although we're meeting some of my former co-workers at a Thai/Vietnamese place for dinner tonight, so maybe not. I'm supposed to meet a friend for lunch today, too, but not until 1:30. I may just eat something here and drin**** tea when I'm with her. I can't afford any more calories!!
I was planning to go to Zumba this morning, but I feel like I might have pulled a stitch or something near my navel. Odd pain. I should probably lay off for a day or two. Plus, it's snowing. Part of me just wants to stay in this morning!!
QOTD: not really. My dad was in the reserves when I was really young (1960s). I also had an uncle who was a lieutenant colonel in the army. He was a career military person - they lived in England and Germany, as well as a few places in the US. He was also in Vietnam.
3 years 5 months out:
B: homemade Greek yogurt, raspberries
MS: coffee with half & half, protein shake
L: I'm thinking cottage cheese and an apple
AS: hummus and baby carrots
D: something Vietnamese (I've had a lot of Thai food - but not much Vietnamese). There's a ginger chicken dish with vegetables that sounds interesting, so maybe that
Good Morning and Happy Fri-Yay! Thank you for all the feel better vibes yesterday- I am feeling so much better. For now, I think I need to stay on a decongestant for a few days.
Love Sir Carbon...such a cutie.
QOTD: No immediate family but several friends have served. Like you, I am appreciative for all who have and are serving.
Time since surgery: 4 years 2 months
