Roasted chickpeas
I eat roasted chickpeas occasionally, but I'm curious about your brand. I never can find them that fit the 10g per 100 calorie profile. Mine aren't even close to that. I use just a sprinkle for texture on salads and in turkey chili. Though I'm starting to use more green onions for that and less on the chickpeas. So I'm curious about your "guidelines" comment and the product you use. I'd probably say that if you aren't at maintenance, you probably don't need them in your diet (unless you are eating vegetarian).

What guidelines did you receive? I just looked at some nutrition info, and they definitely don't meet the guidelines I received.

I was told that all foods should have at least 10g protein per 100 calories; these have less than 5g. You should also try to keep your carbs low, ideally under 25g; a 1oz serving has over half your carbs for the day.
If you do choose to eat these, you should wait until your pouch is fully healed. Crunchy things are dangerous when you are newly post-op.
