Morning all... Tuesday is here and I'm ready to get after it.... I had yesterday off and spent the afternoon watching the hockey game and working on a project for work that I have been wanting to work on for quite some time it felt good to do it and it will help make things a little easier for me.

QOTD: Lot's of things keep me up at night. I really do not sleep well but mainly work keeps me up. Quite often I'm either up at 3 working or you can find me on the way into the office because I can't sleep my job just consumes way to much of my mind. Except on Saturday's that day is reserved for family...

Food for the day....

B: Bacon and a cheese stick

L: turkey and cottage cheese

D: cheeseburger and salad

S: yogurt

Have a great day everyone.

G'morning all!

That drill sounds scary with the man in red suits. Wouldn't these kids have nightmares afterward? But I guess it's better be prepared than not. I hate the world we live in. Our poor kids.

QOTD: I can fall asleep even if I have tons on my mind but somehow I wake up in the middle of night. 2:30-3:00 am and that's when all thoughts come to me and I can't get back to sleep. In the past I'd be leaving the room and start on one of my projects or literally start work, but since we got the puppy and she sleeps on our bed I can't do that. So I'll be there thinking and letting the pup snore away!

Accountability: on point

B: Protein coffee

L: chicken skewers

S: parm cheese

D: Rotisserie chicken

Have a great day!

Good morning menu buddies. I am up early as usual for my Tuesday morning workouts. Pilates followed by personal training. I need to figure out how to streamline things though. I have to get up so much earlier to wear my jaw aligner after sleeping with my apnea oral appliance. Someday I'll get this figured out. After training I have a spa day! I don't go often at all but this is for my upcoming birthday! Yay! Now all I need is another amazing game from my Red Sox and all will be awesome!

Qotd: I have an internal alarm clock that sometimes gets stuck on snooze. If I have an out of the ordinary appointment that is early I still wake up in a panic every 15 minutes or so all night before hand. So annoying. Also, good books... being able to buy sequels at 3am from my bed really does not help either.

Accountability: Yesterday was okay but not great. It was cold and rainy so I decided to make a loaf of bread. I only had 2 tiny slices that barely impacted calories (carbs on the other hand...), but it was unplanned so not great.

Bf: premier protein shake

MS: babybel, protein water

L: don't know, I will be out, maybe sous vide egg bites

AS: probably nothing

D: Turkey Chili, 1 slice homemade bread, 2T cheddar cheese

8oz fairlife milk at some point.

Goals 1000 calories, 100g protein, 100oz water, 1hour personal training, 1hour pilates, 1hour treadmill, all vitamins, and a Red Sox victory

Pilates was cancelled the trainers son is sick.

What really stinks is, I might have to cancel training too cause -I- am not feeling good again.

I had half the premier protein shake and my stomach is again doing it's post breakfast tantrum. Aargh! What is going on?!

QOTD: I have insomnia most nights. It is that my brain refuses to turn off I equate it to a little hamster on a wheel you hear the squeak squeak of the wheel turning. I do sleep better if I work out. The last few nights have been terrible. Yesterday at 4AM I gave up and started reading, so never did get back to sleep. I have to be up by 6, and unless I have to get up earlier I rarely use an alarm, it triggers my PTSD, so not good.

Yesterday my accountability was good. 622 calories, 88 protein, 3 fat and 52 carbs. I've been sticking to greek yogurt and Syntrax Nectar plus a serving of fat free cottage cheese + lactose pills. My pouch was happy yesterday no weird symptoms. So I'll probably keep this up for the week.

With all the events in politics lately, as a rape survivor I have a lot of anger and I need to find a forum to express it. I have no idea where it would be right now. Twitter is too limited and I just feel so hopeless. Sorry I won't talk politics just need to find somewhere to express it. If anyone has an idea I'm open for it. I need to schedule an appointment with my counselor as well. It is not good to keep this inside, and most people just don't get it.

Have a great day everyone!

Hi Julia,

I too survived an awful experience at the same age as Dr. Ford was, and I too found myself very stirred up and so deeply, horribly disappointed by the behavior of people and the events in Washington over the past few weeks. Now I am no longer disappointed, just clear-eyed and disgusted, and I will not stop being fueled by an underlying hot burn of fury at the current status quo. I recommend two things, or three: counseling, exercise to help pu**** out of your body, and direct political or social involvement to help bring about the world you want to see. Hang in there, and take good care of yourself. I wish you peace within. Don't let this, or anything, interfere with your diet and health. Change is coming.
