What's on your Monday Menu RNY'ers?
not sure why OH keeps trying to delete half or all of my post but lets try editing for the 3rd time now...
morning everyone!
I had a really nice weekend...DH and I had our anniversary date on Saturday and got our ring finger tattoo's..I'll post pics at the end. We ended up getting the constellation of Cancer and a Nautical Compass symbol (we are both Cancers)...so it sort of symbolizes us always finding our way home to eachother.
yesterday we spent the day at my parents' house with my sister and her kids, I finally finished Story's halloween costume and I am Obsessed with it, its so Flipping CUTE! I'll post those pics on Friday!
QOTD: I am not in maintenance yet and hoping once I do get there I will not be one of those stuck at under 1000 cals per day because I don't think I'll be able to do that. I can handle 1400 I think...but right now I try to stay under 850 which is working just fine for me.
B: coffee w/sf pumpkin spice creamer (my grocery store finally has it!), 1/2C cottage cheese & small nectarine
L: 3oz grilled buffalo chicken bites, string cheese
S: greek L&F yogurt
D: gonna try making those Korean beef lettuce cups from the recipe on the main page her at OH, looks delicious!

lol YES he had it too, about 3 months after mine and he has already lost more than I have haha...he definitely needed it, he was diabetic & on 13 meds but he is already almost at his goal weight--3 lbs away so he sucks haha.

According to my Dexa scan my BMR is 1239, so I try to get as close to that as possible. On heavy workout days, I may go over, but I try to not eat back my calories. I'm up about 5-7 lbs, but attribute that to out of control hypoglycemia and my inability to properly judge foods when I'm trying to combat it. But that's a different story. Calories are around 1239
Hi!
I was hoping for a mellow Monday because a lot of people are off for Columbus Day. But, this morning has been nightmarish --- all the way from traffic tie-ups on the way to work to never ending snafus and phone calls. This is the first break I was able to sneak in this morning!
QOTD: I'm not even close to maintenance. I'm still struggling to meet my daily goals of protein and fluids!
MEALS FOR TODAY:
Breakfast: High protein milk
AM Snack: Jarlsburg cheese sticks
Lunch: Turkey, mustard, pickle
PM Snack: Fat and sugar-free Greek yogurt
Dinner: Refried beans with cheese topping
