What's on your Monday Menu RNY'ers?
Didn't see a post so starting out.
Weekend was busy and frustrating. Saturday I drug my board to my sisters lake resort only no one would go with me paddlboarding/kayaking. they complained about the heat instead? I was frustrated because I loaded everything up and paid for a guest membership for the day. I did get to try chili at the cook off contest though so that was at least fun. When i left by there I went to this liquidation store and got DH a crap ton of protein bars for him to eat fora super good price so that was good. Sunday we stayed home, i cooked a ton o food for the week, and we cleaned house and garage. still tons to do. we also ordered the wood burning stove for the house we are putting in. We want to get off propane this winter where at all possible due to rising costs and shortage.
QOTD: Those that are in maintenance, what calories are you at? this is something that I have been struggling with the last year.

chinese eggplant with tomato and chicken

planning on cardio class at work gym?? or my own workout not sure-depends on meetings

Hey all. My brain is tired and I am ready to go home and crash.
QOTD: Non work out days I eat about 1400, or try to. Work out days 1500-1600 seems to be working. At times I still under eat so overall I am still slowly losing. If I keep active 1500 is a safe number but if I stop being physical I could probably be at maintenance at 1300. I am still figuring it all out since I'm a maintenance new born. Getting my BMR tested out me in the right direction.
Accountability: I had cooked a delicious crust less pot pie for my dinner. I left it on the counter, so I had a slice of pizza at work. Calories were fine, but the cold hours old pizza was the saddest waste of 300 calories ever.
Breakfast- half a bagel with cream cheese, chobani plain
Lunch- chicken stir fry with veggies and salsa
Dinner- cooking ribs for the first time!
Snacks- Protein shake, roasted broad beans
E- gym time

It was a depressing scene, standing in the dimly lit break room, alone, eating and standing and regretting rushing out of the house and leaving my lunch box behind.

That sounds like a frustrating Saturday!
Accountability - I gained 2.6lbs while on vacation - i tried to eat protein forward and track but so hard to estimate portions -- I did much better on the land portion, I suspect, than I did on the cruise portion - I was lucky that they always had a cheese plate option for dessert so I always had the cheese, skipped the bread and crackers. I got home yesterday and will be very diligent now - I have an 8 month check up on Monday of next week so I want to be back where I was before vacation at a minimum! To that end, I did make a point of getting all my food prep done yesterday for the week.
174.2, a little over 7 months out
Coffee and Half and Half/tea all day
B - one egg with .5 oz shredded cheddar
L - 3.1 oz deli roast beef, 1 square tillamook cheddar
D - 3 oz deli ham, cannon light and fit greek
645 calories, 61 protein, 18 carbs
Exercise - either walk after work or treadmill after work
Have a great start to the week everyone!

Welcome back! Hope you had fun. Can't wait to see pics
I'm sure the 2 lbs will come off in a matter of days, as soon as you are back on your regular eating program.

Good morning! This week I need to make calls and clean the house, as we are leaving for a 10 day trip a week from Friday and leave for Florida a few days after we return. Today we are sailing on a charter arranged by my stepdaughter for DH's birthday and Christmas.
QOTD: I definitely maintain at 1350, but struggled to be that low this summer and am struggling now to get low enough to lose a few. I am older (63) and only a little active (walking and yoga).
Accountability: Great yesterday, but terrible Friday and Saturday...
2.5 Years post-op (maintaining below goal for 22 months)
Always lots of coffee...
B: eggs, cottage cheese and Canadian bacon
L: Cheese sticks??? (Will be on Martha's Vineyard for the sail)
D: No idea right now!
S: homemade cottage cheese with torani syrup

Good Morning Hillary and Menu Family! Thanks for starting us off, Hillary!
QOTD: I've been eating 1400 - 1500 calories lately, but I'm a little worried that my weight might be creeping up a bit. I may be under-estimating how many calories are in some foods, too. If MFP lists several options I usually choose the one with the lesser calories and that may be a mistake.
Accountability: Big feast at the wedding on Saturday and Potluck at church on Sunday so I overate this weekend. Yesterday: Protein - 78, Calories - 1,445, Carbs - 173.
B: prosciutto & mozzarella sticks, banana, light & fit Greek yogurt
L: 160 calorie meal, light & fit Greek yogurt
D: Healthy Choice meal, light & fit Greek yogurt
S: prosciutto & mozzarella sticks, light & fit Greek yogurt, apple crisp
E: walking dogs if it quits raining
Have a great day everyone!

QOTD: Not in maintenance but good question, its something that I wonder about.
Breakfast: Turkey meatballs and cottage cheese
Snack: Greek yogurt
Lunch: Ham, cauliflower
Snack: string cheese, SF popsicle
Dinner: Shrimp, cauliflower
Have a great day
