Low carb/Keto Diet?
Yea :) I do low carb (under 30g a day) and I feel that it works really well for me. I actually think most people's post op diets lean that way because trying to get in at least 60 g of protein a day and eat 600 calories a day or less is super hard to do when eating anything carby.
ps - Some people eat more than 600 calories a day, that's just my personal calorie limit I have set for myself. Also, you are very early out, I wouldn't start counting calories or carbs until...well I was at 6 weeks, but at least until you are on regular food again (step 4 diet)

I had no carbs at all for the first three months and did quite well. I'm still low carb but I do eat fruits and veggies and once or twice a month have a normal carb. I do think low carb is the way to go!
