What a bonanza that senior organization is! It sounds amazing to have so many desirable choices of classes! I would love that, too.

of course, I loved the one today, too. I guess I'll just keep going to 'em all!

Good Morning Hillary and Menu Family!

Thanks for starting us out, Hillary!

QOTD: I'm a very visual learner and not auditory at all. I had to take notes in classes or the material just didn't sink in. I'm afraid an audio book would go in one ear and out the other. A kindle is okay, but I enjoy the feel of an old-fashioned book with real pages.

Accountability: Yesterday: I ate lunch at my friend's house and she had zucchini bread and chocolate pudding pie, so my calories are high today. Protein - 65, Calories - 1,510, Carbs - 220.

B: prosciutto & mozzarella sticks, banana, light & fit Greek yogurt

L: 160 calorie meal, light & fit Greek yogurt

D: Healthy choice meal, cantaloupe, light & fit Greek yogurt

S: prosciutto & mozzarella sticks, banana, light & fit Greek yogurt

E: walking at Walmart

Have a wonderful day everyone!

~ Karen

I'm the same way - I always took tons of notes! In fact, I'm STILL taking tons of notes in these classes I'm taking now, even though they're non-credit!

good morning everyone!

I had a terrible commute on my way home yesterday--we had a significant storm on Tues evening (hence why our power was out) and evidently there were still some areas the power was not restored yet--I didn't see where exactly the traffic lights were out but there was traffic backed up literally for almost 10 miles on the main road I usually take to get home. I ended up looking up alternate routes on my GPS after I had already been in traffic for almost 2 hours and eventually I made it to pick up story at just after 7pm! (I left work at 4:30)...that was insane. even in the worst snowstorm it only took me 2 hours.
needless to say, I had ZERO motivation to do anything after we got home- Story went straight to bed (luckily the sitter fed her dinner) and I almost went to sleep without eating too but ended up having some cheese and turkey meat sticks.

turns out that wasn't a terrible choice because this morning LOOK WHAT HAPPENED!!!!!

I FINALLY made it to Onederland! just barely but I did it! LOL...

anyway...I am hoping it keeps going down regularly at least for a few more days before I hit another stall...seems to be my pattern lately- drop 5lbs, stall for 2+ weeks, etc.

I am going to be filling in for my co-worker again on Friday through Tuesday so I may not have time to get on OH to post til Weds, depending how busy it gets.
the girl who I've been training to fill in is going to be attending the funeral services for the PT who passed away and she was very close to him so I am going to take one for the team and HOPEFULLY it will be the last time I need to sit down at the desk. I just get super stressed out when I have to do my own job on top of another at the same time, it is not good for my mental health!

QOTD: I love audiobooks because they are so convnient...I am a huge proponent of multitasking so whenever I am crafting, crocheting, painting, exercising, and especially driving, etc...I need to have an audiobook to listen to. Movies and TV shows are too hard to pay attention to while you're doing something else that requires your visual attention.
I do love my Kindle too, but notice I have been using it a lot less recently. I think I have been reading the same book on there for like 3 months LOL...I normally pick it up when I can't have headphones on or audio playing somewhere.

B: coffee w/sf caramel pumpkin syrup & SF creamer, 1/2 C Cottage cheese, 1 HB egg
L: buddig turkey pack & 2 light string cheese
S: L&F greek yogurt
D: maybe I'll actually get to make these chipotle salmon burgers tonight w/some mixed veggies.

have a fantastic day everyone!
