What's on your Tuesday Menu RNY-ers?
QOTD: I used to teach an orientation class for newbies at my job, and basically used the same question as an icebreaker. I always said Ophrah Winfrey- at the time she still had her show... Because I could do a show on whatever topic was important to me and people would listen and then of course- shopping. Could shop for anything.
Accountability: yesterday was horrible. I don't know if it was the 5am wake up for my endoscopy/ food being thrown off and over tired the rest of the day or what.
Endoscopy did not show a hiatal hernia. Door #1 has been ruled out. Surgeon appointment at 1PM to get result of cat scan w/IV contrast and see what other door I Maybe walking through.
I couldn't drive yesterday because of anesthesia and literally walked back through the door of my house at 9AM looked at my nephew who lives with me and knew something was wrong. Short story is his leg was bothering him which we thought was a pulled muscle- He was admitted to the hospital yesterday with a blood clot that has traveled to his lungs. Sigh. He has emotional disabilities, he was scared and I felt like I couldn't help because I couldn't drive. His Mom, my ex-SIL took him, but that's another story.
Can I be done yet?

Good morning,
I was really tired last night when I got home from work so I didn't go to my support group. I was too tired to cook my pork chops so I had a protein bar.
My cat doesn't like getting his picture taken so I got a few that I could share with the group. I still can't decide on a name for him. Throw out some names for him. He doesn't like to be held long either, he rather be petted on the floor. Also likes to drink his water from the tub faucet instead of his water bowl.
Qotd I would liked to live in Laura Ingalls shoes for one day to see how they lived back then.
B ham and cheese omelette and string cheese
L tuna, cottage cheese and honeycrisp apple
D sirloin chop
Have a good day
he is adorable!! We have one who likes to drink out of faucets, too - either the tub or the kitchen sink - he likes both!
naming pets has always been hard for me. Some of mine have Turkish names (because I have some that are a Turkish breed), and most of my "mutts" have had people names. I've always liked "Henry". I once had a cat named "Ian", too. This sounds sort of nutsy, but I often try to zero in on some feature of the cat and go from there. For example, my cat Ian had red/orange fur, like yours does. So Ireland and Scotland came to mind (not that the cats there have red hair, but many of the people do - and it gave me somewhere to start). So I came up with "Ian" pretty quickly - it fit him, too.
is there something about his looks - or his personality - that would give you somewhere to start?
