What's on your Tuesday menu?
Good Morning all!!
Thanks for the advice for the holidays. I know this will all come in handy in due time.
B1 - PP Shake (YAY!! My shipment finally arrived)
B2 - A couple bites of a hard-boiled egg and sausage
L - Protein and veggies - chicken or beef
D - Going out tonight before the Maroon 5 concert. The restaurant we're going to has a nice salmon and veggie dinner so that's my plan.
Have a great day!!
Kelly

some things don't sit well at first - I remember the first few weeks could be pretty touch-and-go. Does she have you on a PPI? A lot of surgeons prescribe those for anywhere from the first three months to a year post-surgery (although probably on the shorter end of that range now given the recent bad press for PPIs). Also, you're in the "right" time period for a stricture. I had one at four weeks out and another at eight weeks out. Although it could simply be that your stomach isn't ready for deli turkey breast, too. It may be fine with it in another week...
I had problems with getting things down for the first 7 months and still can not eat eggs Scrambled. I can eat them every other way but scrambled. . My dietician always told me if I'm having problems with a certain food give it a couple weeks and try it again. And you can always go back and eat things from the last phase of the diet that will help you hit your protein goals. Hang in there I never knew it would be that difficult but I promise it gets better and in the meantime your loosing mad amount of excess weight launching you towards your weight loss goals. Just make your liquids and protein goals a priority and get them in any way you can. It gets better I promise.
