After reading the other posts and waking up a bit, probably my early rising in the morning and coffee consumption fit the bill if things I truly enjoy now but hated as a child.

Morning RNY'ers!! Day 13 of run streak, 32 miles total. Now if I could get my eating in order. I'm seeing a shift in my needs- dinner really is not at all important to me. I like breakfast and lunch can get my minimum protein between breakfast, lunch and a snack. I'm content with cooking dinner for the family but using it as my lunch the following day. Where I've struggled is some feeling of 'obligation' to eat dinner with the family, but I'm more content with a yogurt, slice of PB bread etc in the evening. I think the evening runs have influenced this- since I don't want anything heavy in my system. I'll get it together, just need to learn how to keep it together.
Qotd: I can't think of anything I really detested as a kid. I've always been easygoing, so there's not much that bothers me.

Breaking the "obligation" cycle is hard!! I bet they would be just as happy if you sit with them with you right dinner/no dinner, it's really about the time and attention, right?

Interesting analysis on your hunger and timing. But I bet your weight is up because you are adding muscle from so much running.

Good morning! We are off to the beach in a little bit. It's been a long time since we really relaxed there beyond a short visit or walk and plan to park it on the sand for a few hours - can't wait! After that will be a late lunch, a nap then dinner and movie on the couch! Super chill day!
QOTD - going to bed EARLY and getting up EARLY! I need lots of sleep - I happily go to bed at 8 and I'm up at 5 on weekdays and before 6 on the weekends. As a kid I would want to stay up as late as possible and sleeping until noon was dream! I also like cleaning and doing laundry now
Accountability - I wanted to eat ALL day, I was good.
18+mo post op - 165.9!
b- coffee x2, SB iced coffee + going to try the new chicken chorizo egg bites
l- turkey taco meat w/lettuce, tomato, onion, salsa and sour cream
d-crispy carnitas on baby lettuce and tomato and homemade cilantro dressing
v/l - on track
E - long walk on the beach
Have a great day
