I'm new here. Hi, everyone!
I updated my story, if you are interested. ? Short version: Doing a revision from VBG(2003) to RNY, with a mixed type hiatal hernia repair, probably some time in June. Right now, it's just lots of tests and being uncomfortable all the time. My hernia surgeon recommended the RNY conversion because I have terrible GERD.
I'm looking forward to learning from all of you and getting to know folks who will understand this journey.

Welcome!!! I love this site. I like knowing that what I am going through is normal and there are people out there who are going through the same thing.
I had RNY February 1st, 2018. I had a hiatal hernia as well. My symptoms have disappeared and all my nausea is better as well.
Welcome to the family and best of luck to you on your journey.
