What's on your (PHOTO) Friday Menu, RNYers?
Hi JB and OHer's, our area is supposed to be mid to high 70,s and sunny for the next 5 days.... it's a little after 7 and still looks overcast ...hmmmmm
QOTD lots of compliments from my husband frequently... (does it count when I'm quietly pleased at my staying on track when I do?)
B 1 hb egg, 1 bacon, 2 T Greek yogurt
L 3oz sliced turkey, 2T Greek yogurt
D 3-4 oz salmon
S volpi
Today is my two week check in appointment! A little early but that is okay. I get to find out how the doctors think I am doing which will be interesting.
Qotd: Last night was support group, which for me got a little emotional but nothing got me teary eyed as much as when a super sweet gal told me that my mom is proud of me. I lost my mom at the age of 50 in 2014 to a sudden stroke (I was 32 at the time) and have been trying since to live up to everything she was. It wasn't so much a compliment as a "what you're doing is good" but it meant the world to me. That will stay with me for a long time me' thinks.
Accountability: Yesterday was not so hot. I organized my sewing room and feel behind on water early in the day. I caught back up in the evening to meet my goal but barely. Then for dinner the soup I pureed was.... disappointing. Actually it tasted a bit like grass clippings and was thicker than I thought so I could only do 3 oz not 4.
Bf: 1/3 premier protein, 2oz yogurt
L: 1/3 premier protein, 4 oz bone broth
D: 1/3 premier protein, 4oz chicken noodle soup pureed
S: protein jello cup (made 4 servings rather than 6)

Good morning all~ Happy Friday! I am in a great mood! We are heading to Long Beach tomorrow to see Rob's mom and to celebrate Rob's birthday. Since we will be somewhat close to Camp Pendleton, we are staying the night in hopes that my son has liberty (free time) this weekend. Seeing my kiddo on Mothers day would be awesome, but he may only get phone privileges this weekend - fingers are crossed!!
I used to add butter to my coffee everyday and really enjoyed it for a couple of years. About 6 months ago it just didn't sound good anymore so I stopped. I always meant to try coconut oil, just never did.
QOTD - Lately - I've been accused of 'glowing' a lot lately! I'll take it. I've had my share of happy lately and I'm not gonna lie, I totally agree!
Accountability - there were corn nuts, why?I couldn't tell you. They weren't even good, not even a little.

Good Morning!
Look at me getting in before noon! :)
It's a sunny but COLD day here today. I'll take the sunshine! Looking forward to the weekend. Can't wait really. Nothing too exciting planned, but I need the break.
Accountability: Well I'm 100% on track if that includes eating all the sugar treats I could find? I'm stressing about work. totally. and I'm out of control eating. I have to make a decision. Just rip the band aid and do it. You think I can? I'm giving myself ulcers and making myself sick over it. Why? Why do I do this to myself. I know what I want to do, but I feel guilty for it. GUILT is a horrible thing. UGH.
QOTD: I always post long posts on Facebook. Always foolishness. Just what's happening in my life as told by me. Yesterday I was out and ran into an old co-worker who introduced me to her mom. Her way to introduce me? Mom-this is Lori from Facebook. Her mom went WHAT? Oh my! I got a huge hug and she told me that she waits every morning for my old co-worker to call her and read out my post, and then she in turn tells the others in her home and they all get a good laugh. She said that it makes her day. I was so touched.
Menu:
Breakfast: tea with restorlax, and a granola bar
Snack: rest of the premier protein
Lunch: 4oz chicken, maybe some salad.
snack: oatmeal peanut butter energy bar
Supper: Chicken fingers left over from last night, I'll add in some peppers and onions.
Exercise: Kickboxing tonight, followed by cleaning up the bedroom. putting together a new bed! :)
Side note: I know it was only one transfusion, but man I think I'm feeling better already. this is the second morning in a row I woke up not feeling like death. It's most likely all in my head. But I'll take it. I never said I wasn't a head case so.... LOL
Have a great one!!
Lori
Updated: I ALMOST got it in before noon. Damn work getting in the way of me posting and then reading. :)
