Good morning! We are expecting severe weather today, so I spent last night throwing milk jugs over all of my garden plants to protect them from the possible hail. I do hope if it hails, it does enough damage to the roof to have insurance fix it. Is that terrible??
Qotd: I'm kind of agnostic about conspiracy theories, mostly I think people have way too much time on their hands! But I do also semi think there has to be other life in this universe and I do believe in spirits (not ghosts per se) to some degree.
Breakfast: coffee with Premier
lunch: leftover pork temple cutlets with mushroom gravy
gym after work: 30 mins on the elliptical, upper body weights
dinner: turkey burger with cheese
maybe another protein shake after dinner. The hair loss is starting. I have thin hair to begin with so I'm having a bit of a panic over it and wondering if I should cut my hair short for a while

Good morning- I'm back- I need to get on here every day and be more accountable for sure!
JB- I'm going to have to check the past posts to see what's going on with your employment. I understand about Daisy needing a break- the menu thread is a lot of work. I'm so glad that someone always picks it up though.
QOTD - Nope - I haven't ever believed any conspiracy theories, and usually just laugh them off.
So confession time- my head is in a bad place.... I seriously- not even exaggerating- don't see the weight loss when I look in the mirror or even at pics. I'm feeling so discouraged, and when I look in the mirror, I see my turkey neck and saggy arms - bulges at the knees. I think it's really becoming an issue, and I should probably look for a therapist. I've been doing ok at maintaining my weight but I really want to still be losing. I know why I'm not - I'm eating like I'm in maintenance and not weight loss. The past week has been really tough - and I'm showing a 5 lb gain this week - I'm up to 168 when I've been at 163 most of the time. That is a bit of a wake up call.... so here I am.
I'm not going to talk about accountability because today is a new day - tomorrow we will talk about accountability...
Menu:
Breakfast- Protein shake
Lunch- Butter Chicken
Dinner- Beef stew in the Instant pot or Spaghetti with veggie noodles
Exercise- I think I will go for a walk at lunch - help me get through the blahs.
Weight 168.7 this morning

Oh Teena, so glad to hear from you! I was just thinking of writing to you, so glad to see you on here. Sorry that you are struggling. Maintenance and losing the last pounds can be so difficult. The focus is different, but lots of protein and fluids still works if we stick to it.
