HI, I'm new here!
Hello!
My name is Xaimara, I am 37 yrs old. I have been on a weight loss journey for the past 6 years, my starting weight was around 450 pounds (2012), I am currently 354. I will be having RNY on May 14th, and I can't wait! Losing weight on my own has been difficult, but certainly worth it. With the surgery I hope to gain a new, healthier life. The thing I am most looking forward to is saying goodbye to my diabetes medication and the BiPap machine.
I hope to gain some knowledge and meet more people like me in this forum.
Hi there! I'm kind of new too - new to RNY but not WLS. I read the menu thread most days and post on some days. Everyone has been very helpful. Congrats on the weight loss so far and good luck with your future surgery!
