What's on your menu today (Tuesday) RNYers?
Glad you're feeling better! I had a horrible tension headache for days last week so I can relate.
accountability: ... Let's just say that I'm definitely ready for CAMAW!
qotd: I LOVE summer. It's the only thing that makes living in Alaska worth it to me. You'd think that I'd be more into winter sports/activities since I grew up here but I hate being cold. Summer is my jam, I love being outside and hiking, camping fishing etc. I'm counting down the days till we get back to that haha!
b: Greek yogurt with 7 raspberries
l: tuna packet with a tiny bit of mayo
d: tbd
s: maybe meat stick or syntrax
v: patches
e: long dog walk and high incline on treadmill
have a great day, everyone!

G'morning all.
Happy to see everybody is doing better.
QOTD: maybe because of where I live I like winter, because we don't have it here. I love snow and skiing. But I don't know how I would feel if I were living in a place that actually had cold winters. I also like certain months of summer because while in the valley they are dying of heat we get the cool fog on the coast. It's like the nature's air conditioner.
Accountability: on point
B: protein shake
L: tuna & brussel sprouts
S: cheese
D: I gotta taste test for a dinner event coming up so I'll be tasting all the protein this place has to offer....I know, rough life! ;-)
E: strength training day - 60 minutes.
Have a great day.

Good Morning everyone! I had the worst time getting this site to work yesterday so I never posted.
QOTD: Anything but summer. It's too hot in Georgia in the summer. :)
Time since surgery: 3 Months
B: My 15 year old wanted to drive this am so he said he was taking me to breakfast but wouldn't tell me where..pulled up to IHOP. SO I ordered 1 egg scrambled and 2 pieces of bacon. Ate just a couple bites of the eggs. They bother my stomach so much since the surgery. I keep trying here and there. So had a premier protein when I got to work.
L: Leftovers from dinner. "Doughless" pizza and salad.
D: IDK..something out. Its a friends daughter's birthday and they want to eat before our kids band concert tonight.
S: Greek Yogurt and babybell cheese. Probably a couple sugar free popsicles too, and a ham/pickle wrap. (May not eat all of these but I have them at work) Tuesday's is my long day so I make sure I'm covered.
Hope everyone has a great day! I'll come back to read on my lunch break!

Good Morning Daisy and Menu Family,
QOTD: I think I would choose Summer if I had to choose just one. I love it that it stays light out until later in the evening. But I love the changing of the seasons and love some things about all the seasons, although Winter is my least favorite season. This winter has seemed long and never-ending here in Nebraska and I am SO looking forward to Spring!
Accountability: Yesterday: Protein - 91, Calories - 1,230, Carbs - 145.
B: prosciutto & mozzarella sticks, light & fit Greek yogurt
L: beef & broccoli
D: general tso's spicy chicken
S: prosciutto & mozzarella sticks, light & fit Greek yogurt, banana, 2 Atkin's peanut butter cups
E: Walking Blossom around the subdivision
Have a GREAT day everyone!

The last couple of days here have been glorious and spring-like, but we're supposed to get "wintery mix" tomorrow night. Enough!

Hello All,
I'm spring and fall...I don't like weather that's to extreme (although I live in So. Cal so I rarely get any extreme weather, except for possibly heat in the summer). But I've lived all over the country and I can say tough midwest winter's were hard and muggy DC summer's were not my favorite!
Time since surgery: 4+ yrs
B: Jimmy Dean sausage & veggie fritta
L: Grilled chicken breast & roasted asparagus
S: sliced bell peppers and cucumber & 2 laughing cow wedges
D: TBD (I'm suppose to meet a friend I haven't seen in over 4 yrs, it's weird, when I see him tonight I'll be WAY smaller than the last time he saw me, but b/c of regain I don't feel that great about myself right now...oye, body image issues! It seems like a never ending challenge) Something protein forward though when we meet up.
No exercise today :(, but tomorrow I'll be all over it!
Have a great day everyone,
Woohoo Shannon! I'm with you (after Paris and NYC, of course!). Even at 4+ years out from surgery, I'm still surprised how full I can get on DENSE PROTEIN. It's like, I have a few days where I think I am a bottomless pit, and the second I try to eat 6 oz of chicken breast...there's that reminder that I have a pouch :) For me, it's all about having the right food at my house and prepped. If I don't have chips, I will just eat the taco meat with cheese and poof, there's that restriction again!
Amen! That's why getting back to basics is so important! It works if you make the right choices, I just have to get back in the habit of good choices everyday. Have an amazing trip!
