Hi!

So after lots of thought, I finally had gastric bypass surgery last Wednesday in an attempt to regain some control over my T2 Diabetes.

This feels like a great community and I look forward to learning lots from you all.

I'm still on liquids only.

Hi, and congrats on your surgery. I am about a month out of surgery and I am off all of my diabetes meds! My sugar is now normal! I had been struggling with diabetes for years, and was on 4 meds and insulin. This surgery has changed my life.

Awesome news! I've been T2 for 20 years, so I'm a little nervous about how successful this can be.

HI and Congratulations! I had mine on Wednesday also for the same reason. Hope you are doing well, I'm finally starting to feel like a human (albeit an easily tired one) again!
