Can't gain weight

I was being sarcastic.
I did gain weight after going on antidepressants, but it wasn't the meds' fault, it was because of my own eating patterns.

6'3" tall, male.
Highest weight was 475. RNY on 08/21/12. Current weight: 198.
M1 -24; M2 -21; M3 -19; M4 -21; M5 -13; M6 -21; M7 -10; M8 -16; M9 -10; M10 -8; M11 -6; M12 -5.
A few ideas based on posting over the past year or so:
- Drink at least 4 oz of liquids while you eat to help slide more food through your pouch, making room for additional calories.
- Drink at least 4 oz. before AND after you eat to also help flush foods through your pouch.
- Eat a well balanced diet but add in fruits and whole grain carbohydrates for additional calories.
- Add in some higher calorie drinks, not high sugar, but some fruit and or yogurt smoothies.

1 and 2 are absolutely AWFUL advice. It's possible to add more calories and gain weight without starting up bad habits.

Nope, nope and nope. NONE of this is good advice, but 1 and 2 are especially bad. NEVER drink with meals. EVER. That's like the number one no-no.
