Nothing Tastes as Good as Healthy Feels!
Good afternoon. I was shooting for being the last to post ;)
It's been nuts at work, so my normal morning routine has been disrupted lately. Good news is that I've officially broken the hand to mouth stall. I've lost 6 pounds in the last two weeks and accountability has been pretty good. Some small amount of black licorice eating at night, but I've dumped those now and will not buy again.
QOTD - I was terrible a****er at first and then I started drinking tea at the office (Decaf Green Tea from Tazo). When I fill up 2-3 times a day (24 oz hot drink tumbler), then I also fill up my 24 oz ice water and fill that with Diet Crush powder. Very yummy. I track in MFP and usually hit between 16 and 20 glasses of water per day. I only count half the fluid that contains any caffeine. So normally I hit about 140 to 160 ounces a day. Weekends I only drink about 2/3rds that volume due to running around, but I always have one or two drinks ready in my cup holder in the car. I do make sure I hit 14 min during the weekend. I also like Costco's generic VitaZero drink - actually tastes better to me too. But I'd say the tea is my favorite beverage.
B - 1/4 of quest bar (cookie version from Eggface) as I had to delay breakfast an hour; Fage 5.5oz and .5 oz seeds
S - Eggwhites (half egg yolk) hard boiled with some salsa
L - Small salad and 4 oz turkey breast
S - 1 oz cheese and Ostrim Chicken stick (that I bought from OH during last year's sale)
D - Small salad and 2/3rds chicken patty. It would have been a nice Turkey patty my wife grilled yesterday, but my buddy ate it before I got home. Oreo my border collie somehow got up high enough on the stove to pull one down. I told my wife - why was it mine since she also made 4 greasy cheddar burgers and they were left alone.
S - SF popsicles
HW 510 / SW 424/ GW 175 (stretch goal to get 10 under) / CW 160 (I'm near the charts ideal weight - wonder if I can stay here)

Hi all! Late to the party once again!
Today is my mom's birthday. She would have been 100 years old today! My mom was born in the icy, waning months of WWI, almost a year before it ended, during the height of the Spanish flu pandemic. She was born before the Russian Czar and his family were killed. King George, Queen Elizabeth II's father, was on the English throne. Flappers and the Charleston had yet to make an appearance. And the clothes! And the hats! What an amazing, vanished world! I miss my mother.
QOTD: I used to drink a couple of huge mugs of coffee every day pre-op. Now I usually have tea instead, though I still enjoy coffee. I have big mugs which hold 20 ounces when filled to the brim. I usually figure on 19 ounces each, and have 5-7 mugs of tea with cashew milk every day. I like all kinds, but plain black tea has become a favorite. I have a large selection of herbal teas, as well.

D: Roast beef, Refried Beans, Snowdonia Bouncing Berry cheddar

QOTD: I am notoriously bad at getting in my fluids for the day. I do drink tons of coffee but not always decaffeinated. Mostly I drink flavored water and crystal lite and I love hot decaf tea.
Food for the day
Isopure banana protein shake
Lots of coffee and carbonator ff milk
1/2 low carb tortilla with chicken thigh boneless (about 5 ounces)
Snack Cheesestick
Dinner: Beef fajita meat, lettuce and some sort of vegetable low carb
PB powder and carbonator yogurt
800 or less calories, less than 20 carb grams
