ALT/AST blood work concerns

Are you aware of any research or literature about elevated liver enzymes after extreme weight loss or WLS? My endocrinologist is very concerned about my liver and is ordering some tests but if there is any evidence of a connection (other than from anecdotal discussions such as what we are having here!) would like to share it with her.
