Protein Powder Recommendations

Hello All,

Wondering if anyone can recommend some protein powder samples to try...I am heading to the US on Tuesday and understand there's a greater variety of protein powder flavours and options. I would like to know ones you have tried and liked as well as stores they might be in if possible. Then I can find out which nutrition stores I need to hit in Michigan. Thank you muchly!!

I'm not sure what stores are in Michigan, but I liked the Vitamin Shoppe for buying protein powders and supplements early on. Syntrax Nectars became my go to brand. I also like their store brand, though I forget the name of it.

another Syntrax fan here. Vitamin Shoppe definitely has it - although I know other stores sell it as well.

Perfect, thanks you guys. Any flavour suggestions to give a shot? I am going Tuesday and again in February so I'll get some flavours now to try with a plan to buy bigger of what I like then.

I also like Syntrax nectar! My personal favorites were grapefruit, fuzzy navel, and roadside lemonade. I know you can buy a sample variety pack of Syntrax on Amazon, but not sure if it's in the stores.

Thank you! I found the Shoppe in a few towns near where I am going and plan to grab the "to go" packs of Fuzzy Navel so I have some smaller ones to try before a 2lb container. Chocolate Truffle was intriguing to me as well!

• those fruit ones (like Fuzzy Navel) are especially good mixed with Crystal Light lemonade (or any low- or no-calorie lemonade mix). It really brings out the flavor even more!
