Having some trouble with pills
My vit. D was only 10 so Now I'm on D3 capsules. Much smaller than I thought, and if I open them up it has the crushed powder inside. Having some big trouble swallowing them. I took one and it feels like it sits in 1 spot for 30+ min. I doubt it is, but it feels like it. And my pouch is seriously not happy with this. Is it ok to open the capsule and put the powder in a drink or perhaps yogurt? These are 50,000 UI so I only take 1 a week.
I have tried to take other vitamins, but even gel ones are giving some big issues for me. Unless it's chewable or ground to a powder I'm having problems. Anyone have some suggestions? Because right now all I'm able to get down me is the adult flintstones complete (the only chewables my nutritionist and doctor recommended for an all over vitamin)

You can buy chewable vitamin D. Would that be an option? The dose is lower, so I imagine you'd need to take one pill a day, rather than your current one per week.
Regarding your multivitamins, did your doctor explicitly say "no" to other adult chewables? Flintstones are woefully inadequate for our needs (200% RDA of all vitamins and minerals), and there are plenty of products on the market that will have what you need.
