What's on your Monday Menu RNYers?
QOTD: christmas is almost done- i buy early when sales are great and don't have to worry about kids christmas lists so it easier. I get them what I want to get them that they will like.
Weight was up today. had a match with pork rinds last night and they won. so back to the grind of lowering that weight as it was HIGH today for me.
have tons of egg whites to eat, turkey, and spaghetti squash dish to finish up.
and some yogurt.
good couple of days eating-wise, but my weight isn't budging. Might be because I'm still eating turkey with gravy and stuffing for dinner (sodium) - plus restaurant eating on Saturday (sodium). Hopefully it'll break soon.
not excited about being back at work this week, although it shouldn't be a bad week. In fact, it should be pretty low-key until the end of the semester. Still, now that my mind is on retirement, this will seem like it's taking forever. I set up a "Days to Retirement" counter, but just changed it to display it in weeks. Looks a lot better that way.
QOTD: I ordered my sister and BIL an Instant Pot on Black Friday. I haven't gotten anything else yet. I need to get something for my mother and my niece - DH and I usually don't buy each other gifts - we're too cheap!
2 years 5 months out:
B: homemade Greek yogurt, 2 T red raspberry preserves, 2 T Kashi Crunch granola
S: coffee with half & half, vanilla latte protein/Miralax shake
L: leftover 1/2 chicken quesadilla
D: probably turkey again!
Good morning! Work is getting so stressful and I'm struggling with food, mostly the abundance of it for the holidays and losing interest in even bothering to eat well when work is providing lunches all through the busy season. My 5 month evaluation is today and I'm not even hoping to show loss, I'll feel successful if I haven't gained. My bathroom scale is very inaccurate (not sure if it's the scale or the way I step on it, or even if our floors are slightly not level), so I really have no idea.
QotD: I'm about half-finished with shopping, but the rest should be easy.
breakfast: big huge pecan roll, work catered in a bakery. I now actually feel like vomiting, it was too much sugar.
Lunch: garlic herb tuna creation packet on a bed of spinach
Snack: Greek L&F
dinner: probably salmon and sautéed kale. I plucked the last of my kale before we get the really hard freezes--kale (and other brassicas) holds up well to light frost, and the frosts actually give it a sweeter taste, but I'm sure this mild weather won't hold up forever.

Good morning!
Shopping. I love it but I get stressed out spending $. Can't win.
Accountability: Things were off but could have been worse. My weight has stayed at 165 all weekend and I need to see that number go down for my sanity. Thinking of CAMAW like Teena.
I had so many comments about my weight from relatives on Thanksgiving. On one hand, it was nice. On the other, it was making me feel uncomfortable by the end of the night. My step-brother keeps commenting on how I'm so much smaller than I was in high school. Like I was a giant whale in high school. From what I remember, I wasn't that huge in high school, so that just makes me feel bad. Whatever. I know he's trying to compliment me.
Menu: not completely planned out but it involves a lot of coffee and a lot of leftover crackslaw.
Cheers!

Good Morning Teena and Menu Family!
My back is still hurting. I am impatient for it to hurry up and heal up so I can get back out there and walk with my dog.
QOTD: I'm winding it up. I don't have nearly as many gifts this year for Saralisa to open as last year, but I think she understands. Her Birthday is January 5th, so I am shopping for her Birthday now, too.
Accountability: Yesterday: Protein - 76, Calories - 1,125, Carbs - 100.
B: prosciutto & mozzarella sticks, light & fit Greek yogurt
L: homemade chili
D: beef pot roast
S: prosciutto & mozzarella sticks, light & fit Greek yogurt, 2 Atkin's peanut butter cups
Have a WONDERFUL day everyone!

Good morning. We had a good, quiet, Thanksgiving. We went to my MIL's house. I ate turkey, that was it!
QOTD I think this year we are only shopping for my son. I usually buy everything for him in October and then if one or two things come up that he says he wants, I'll do that in December.
B- coffee, 16oz smar****er
L- sargento balanced break and 1oz turkey
S- 1/2 premier protein
D- baked haddock 3oz, green beans
S- TBLS low fat PB

Good morning! I?m off wor****il Thursday (planned a few extra days after Em goes back to school as I usually do. Hubby has a medical test tomorrow and has prep day today so it's nice to be able to be available in case he needs anything.
QOTD: We don't have much left to buy- we don't have many people to buy for so it's not too stressful.
Accountabilty: I have been doing so-so. Nothing really "off plan" but a little granola and extra nuts here and there.
B: latte, eggbeaters, turkey sausage links and 1/2 an orange L: TBD (depends if hubby needs me out of the house since he is in liquids only) S: yogurt, nuts and salami D: prob BBQ chicken pizza
E: 1 hour stairclimber and 40 mins elliptical this morning
W/V on track
I hope everyone enjoys their Monday.
Hi everyone! It's good to back. I thought the menu thtead had ended. Finally with the help of others I realized that it still existed. I had blocked teena! Teena I have no idea why your name was blocked!
So here I am with my two new cats. They came last night a mother and her son. Last night while I was sleeping I became the human highway. They were running all over me. I totally love them and will post pictures when I figure out how to do that.
My Thanksgiving was a little off....I scarfed down some hummus and couldn't eat any dinner. I had really intense pain for hours.
I have a question: I love dry cereal.... Or any kind of cereal... Can I eat dried cereal? Which is best? I'll eat it with a protein shake.
I love Christmas and shop all year long. I haven't taken out my decorations yet...going to try for.ones the cats won't completely destroy! I know...good luck with that!
Enjoy your day nancy
