Good morning and welcome to Monday! Hope everyone had a great weekend to finish up their Thanksgiving! We arrived home at 10 last night so I wasn't too impressed when the alarm clock went off this morning. Thank you to JB and Liz for handling the menu thread last week! It was greatly appreciated.

QOTD: How is your Christmas shopping going? I've started mine but still have a way to go. I'm not even sure what's on my kids wish lists except that Owen just got a Nintendo Switch and Tyler a PS4 so I'm sure they will want games for those. Chelsie wants a new dresser. :)

Accountability- yesterday was probably the worst day I've had since surgery. I had chocolate while driving and a biscuit AND 1/2 a cornbread muffin at Cracker Barrel. I didn't log a thing so I'm not sure what my calories were like. The rest of the choices were good. Back on track today- I'm going to do CAMAW for this week to get my weightloss going again.

Menu: There was no time for food prep so it will be a cafeteria day today. Lots of choices there so I'm not worried. Dinner is also up in the air. Have to refresh my memory as to what's there. My sister in law gave us 6 dozen eggs from her chickens so there are a lot of eggs in our future!!

Weight was 172.1 this morning- exactly the same as when we left on vacation so I guess that's a win.

Have a great day everyone!

RNY Jan 12, 2017 Lost 137 lbs but regained 60.

77 lbs lost and counting!

Losing the regain! I got this!

Good morning all. I had such a great Thanksgiving and a completely chill few days off afterwards. I was pretty lazy the last few days and it is nice to go back to work completely relaxed. I think I slept more this weekend than I had in the entire month previous ;) Naps abounded.

QOTD: Pretty good. I have bought things along the way as I saw them over the last few months, but I am not terribly organized about it. I don't have any lists going, which feels like it might lead to some people getting a lot more than intended. I ought to get organized.

Despite all the time off I am not super organized going into this week. I don't have lunches made or anything, so I feel like I am flying by the seat of my pants. But I have a lot of turkey to eat so that will be the bulk of my food for the next few days.

Also, I have a FB friend from elementary school who had surgery last week and she has been posting pics of her shakes. I am weirdly nostalgic and sort of want to go back and make some yummy shake recipes. I might try to make some good ones this week!

Good morning everyone! I hope everyone had a wonderful Thanksgiving! My whole holiday weekend was just lovely. Even so, I am glad to get back to my routine. I didn't even mind the commute this morning, I enjoyed the alone time.

QOTD - I have done very little shopping - ordered some PJ's for Rob but that is it so far. Rob wants toys and my son wants clothes. I always have a reasonable plan then end up with way more. I love spoiling them!!

Accountability - awesome - 163.5 - yes!

Good morning menu folks! We got back from NY yesterday afternoon, but I am feeling rather under the weather. It was nice to visit, but very stressful so I may just need a day in bed.

I got on the scale this morning and I am up only 1 1/2 pounds. I am satisfied with that since we ate out alot and I didn't get in much exercise. I will knuckle down now that I am home and work on getting the weight back down. I ate alot more and had a few carbs while we were gone, so I will focus on the protein. I did drink lots of fluids while I was gone, though so that was good.

QOTD: We did alot of Christmas shopping while we were gone, so I feel mostly ready. I will make some fudge and maybe some cookies to add to the packages, but that is pretty much it.

Menu:

Breakfast: 1/2 cup plain oatmeal, hard boiled egg, 2 oz ham

Snack: Cappuccino protein shake

Lunch: chicken breast, baby carrots

Snack: 2 oz turkey breast, apple

Dinner: ?pork chops, butternut squash

Exercise: I'd like to get in 60 minutes of swimming

Good morning! I'm still trying to adjust to a new place/new schedule so my sleep has been erratic. I did get about 8 hours last night but it was broken up by a couple of hours of reading in the middle of the night, which I don't like doing.

QOTD: I'm just starting to think about Christmas gifts. I got a couple of scarves for my SILs and am going to order a pot for DH (as in a cast iron pot for a particular cornbread he loves). Other than that, I need to ask my adult children to give me ideas for them. I do almost all shopping online.

Good morning! My weekend was really great. Friday night I did a little shopping with my wife, as both kids were at grandma's overnight. That always makes for an easier shopping experience and a bit of a break at home. Saturday I did a farmer's market run, put up the Christmas lights outside and took the kids to a kids' event in the afternoon, followed by a Christmas light display in the evening. By the time we had hot chocolate (coffee for me) and got home, thawed out and ready for bed, they just crashed out. I put the fire on and had a quiet night with my wife watching Grey's Anatomy (admittedly, I did sudoku through most of that).

Menu: B: a few finger-sized meat sticks on my walk, followed by a protein shake. No apple this morning. I left it by the front door in my absent-mindedness, but my meat sticks (from the market) were in my pocket for some reason. I really should try and be awake more in the mornings.

MS/AS: 1/2 cup ff greek yogurt, with about 10 razberriez (the button between a and d juzt ztuck down in mid zentence. what the heck.

L: cottage cheeze (lol) mixed with cucumber and tuna fizh (thiz iz getting ridiculouz)

Zupper: Unknown

QOTD: I'm pretty well ready for Chriztmaz, my wife and I are not buying for each other thiz year zince we are taking the family on a little trip. Kidz are all zet for the big day though. It will be the firzt Chriztmaz I've travelled and woken up in a hotel that morning. That will be weird.

Now to go down to the I.T. department and find a new keyboard........Dear Zanta.....

Good morning :)

The weekend went by way too fast. The puppies were adorable during their playdate. The littlest one is about six months old and very fiesty. Mine slept the whole way home. Yesterday I went for lunch with my sister and our grandmothers. We do that every couple months to catch up. Today will probably be quiet because I don't have a meeting tomorrow. Maybe I will do some online shopping.

QOTD: I have only ordered one gift so far. I tried to talk my sister into skipping the gift exchange this year but she wasn't interested. I find it so silly to just buy each other gift cards. I'd rather just hang out and visit. I'm over the commercialness of the holiday. I want to start our own traditions. DH is so cute and excited to put up lights on our house this year. These are the things I want to remember.

Post-op two years, eight months.

Breakfast - protein bar

Snack - egg

Lunch - chicken and salad

Snack - turkey pepperettes

Dinner - tbd

Snack - protein shake if needed

All water and vits.
