That's what I was thinking, also sugar and cornstarch. I was innocently thinking it's just broth w/ egg and tofu, ha!

QOTD: Since I always have dessert duty, I am prepped as having ingredients in house. Pecan Pie made with Maple Syrup, and this year the Pumpkin Cheesecake I posted about a few weeks ago. SF and gluten free, low carb.
I cooked up the second half of the fresh Chorizo I bought at Whole Foods. Damn that stuff is good. Now I have a reason to go in there, not good. Made Hash minus potatoes.
Drank 100oz of water yesterday. Go me! Setting goals :)

Hi everyone, happy Sunday!
It's a beautiful day here, cool and perfect, the birds are singing and it's pouring sunshine! I am going to take a long walk today.
Accountability: I only got 33 grams of protein in yesterday. I ended up not having my protein drink before breakfast. This is never a good idea, as I am usually not willing to add more calories at the end of the day even when I should. My cals yesterday were 500. Back to having a protein drink in the morning, before food!
QOTD: I am generally a planner, but I really don't have anything to do this Thanksgiving except show up. I will bring flowers and wine and a wheel of that yummy Snowdonia Bouncing Berry cheese (to contribute to the appetizers).
I love Christmas and love to decorate for it. For the past few years I've gotten my (real) Christmas trees at Costco, and it's almost time to do so again! Mostly here they sell noble firs, but last year they had Douglas firs. I love both, but the Douglas firs require a lot of thinning, or the ornaments have no room to actually hang, and can only lay flat, sloping downwards on the outside of the tree - not a look I like. But it's fine, all that thinning means I have lots of fragrant boughs to place about the house! I really, truly regard my Christmas trees and mantels as works of art and magic. I do my best to buy or make presents for those I love. Mostly I envision peace and beauty, and try to spread that around. I remember my loved ones who have gone before, and I think about and do my best to honor what Christmas is actually all about, beyond all the glitter and hype. I go to church. Mostly I just love all of it!
First: tea with cashew milk, Cinnamon Buns protein drink
B: 1.7 oz turkey, 0.4 oz cheddar
L: same as breakfast (it's good!)
D: tilapia made in the air fryer, lemon
Lots of tea, all vitamins
I'm looking forward to seeing pictures of your tree and mantels!
