What's on your Thursday Menu RNYers?
QOTD: My favorite topic!! ok, for clothes basics like leggings, undergarments I generally use kohls or VS or Aerie. For clothes I generally shop high end thrift or vintage. I'm trying to pair down my clothes to 1) items that fit me properly, 2) are the right color (tan on my upper body for example does not look good), 3) fits my personal style. For a long time I bought items because they fit me pretty ok. then now I care about personal style. I have amaon prime and I use this for protein powders (and GNC) good deals on snacks, dog stuff, home improvement stuff, not usually clothes. I also shop on swap.com for clothes. I don't shop online for clothes except if there is a really really good deal. Old navy/gap outley/ann taylor/chico out let is here so i will stop in from time to time. I also shop on mercari app. I've gotten my frye/ariat boots from there second hand for an amazing price.

Hi everyone. I'm back from vacation with my husband to celebrate our anniversary. We spent 4 glorious days in Southern California, and now back to the Colorado cold. I did well at protein first, but some carbs snuck in there and then I just wanted more carbs. I came back yesterday and followed my plan the whole day. I plan on more of the same today.
Qotd: Undoubtedly Amazon. I live in the boonies, so there is not much shopping her except Walmart. I get lots of use out of my Prime membership.
B coffee with cream
L left over scrambled eggs with cheese, cucumber
S cottage cheese, pecans
D hamburger patty
S plain whole milk yogurt (so good)
Have a great day everyone!

Hi Emmie,
Just wondering, do you get bored eating exactly the same breakfast and lunch everyday? Is it superstition? Or just sticking to what works? This is purely a curiousity question as I understand the merits of knowing exactly what we what calories, carbs etc.... for accountability. I just wondered because it looks like you eat lettuce wraps almost every day.

For me, it's just the convenience factor. I pack my stuff the night before so it's just part of my routine. I make the eggs on the weekend in a 13X9 dish and portion them out into sandwich bags and toss in the freezer. As for lunch, I like to eat tuna at least a few days a week and lunch is the easiest meal for it (I went through a phase where I ate the sweet and spicy packets). I do try and bring something different at least one/two days a week and I rarely eat the tuna on weekends.
