I made it
My loser bench arrival was 19 days ago.... I am already playing head games with my self... upset I am not losing faster.... my heaviest weight was 265, day of the operation was 240, toady I an 227, as I write this I know I know....13 pounds in 19 days is a lot, but I a frustrated this past week I lost like 1 pound. I am not pushing my self to fast, but I did go back to work this week. I still working on the sipping thing... I thought maybe I could handle more then a sip by now, by this is not the case. I am only able to eat like 500 calories or so right now a day. hmmm..... am I on track??? I don't go for an post op appointment for another 2 weeks.... so far everything has been transitioning easily for me with little problems. I had a weird choking/coughing/burp spell in the hospital the first night and that was about it!
Sounds like you are right on target. Just make sure that you are getting plenty of fluids.

You are doing great. I lost 21 pounds the first two weeks. Remember that you were on clear fluids the first two weeks . Now your weight loss will be around two or three pounds a week providing you do as the doctor/ nutritionist say. Make sure your getting your fluids and protein in. Be patient, loss will be consistent. I have gone two or three days with no loss and then the next day I lose two pounds. It took along time to gain the weight and it will take time to lose it. Hang in there.
yeah I am being good.... I do forget to eat.... how sad is that.... I have to set a timer.... I got breakfast and lunch down Monday through Friday, but the rest of the time its so hard, my foods are limited, and I cant handle half the foods due to food allergies.... I am living on crackers, eggs, and mashed potatoes.... atleast tomorrow I can have mac and cheese!!!! so excited for a different flavor, not s much the food!!! ahah

You are on target, I think. Concentrate on getting enough fluids, walking a bit, and protein. I had a hard time getting enough fluids for months, until I finally started drinking tea. Somehow although I like water and the taste of water, it was harder for me to get enough in. But tea works well for me, I went from getting only around 24-32 ounces a day to getting easily 80-100 or even more. However, I'm a bit further out than you. Still I suggest trying a nice herbal tea! Sometimes it's best not to weigh too often. Remember that the surgery itself adds several pounds to us - in my case I gained 9 pounds, and it took at least a week for me to lose all of that. 13 pounds down in 19 days sounds pretty good to me.
